Best Wielder in Eternal City
Best Wielder in Eternal City

You begin Eternal City with 3 free Wielders and you are able to unlock additional ones as you progress in the game and through the Hakuya House gacha. The following Best Wielder Guide will tell you which ones are the best in the game.

Once you have unlocked a Wielder you can tap on the Wielder button in the Tactical Terminal to open up the 'Select Wielder' screen to view the attributes of all those you have obtained. There are 3 Wielder Attributes: Tough (red fist icon), Deft (yellow boot icon), and Spirit (blue energy bolt icon). These attributes use the Rock, Paper, Scissors method: Tough counters Deft, Deft counters Spirit, and Spirit counters Touch. If your Wielder Attribute counters the enemy Attribute, you gain 2 advantages: you deal 25% increased damage and receive 25% less enemy damage.

There are 6 Wielder different Types/Roles: Warrior (crossed swords icon), Tank/Defense (shield icon), Mage (flame icon), Assassin (shuriken icon), Shooter (crossbow icon), and Support (heart icon).

Melee (close-range) Wielders with a balance of Physical Damage and Defense/HP stats.

Melee (close-range) Wielders with a strong emphasis on Defense and HP stats.

Ranged Wielders with a strong emphasis on Magical Damage and AOE Skills.

Melee (close-range) Wielders with a strong emphasis on Physical Damage and Mobility.

Ranged Wielders with an emphasis on their long range and Damage.

Wielders that focused on Healing and Control Skills.

The Best Wielder

We consider Darvela (Rank SSSS after Awakening) to be the best Wielder in Eternal City. Darvela is known as the Son of Darkness, he is a mysterious guy and little is known about him. Darvela's Divine Artifact is Demon Azrael. Davela's Wielder Attribute is Spirit and his damage type is Magical. Liberate Darvela to boost him to Tier II, or even higher. Below is a guide on how to get the best Wielder in Eternal City

Guide Image

Requirements: Unlock Azrael Relic, Clear ALL Districts, 80 FP

We recommend you take the Freedom, Termination, or Bahisa Route or alternately the Hall of Puppets (this is where you can battle against enemies and collect Memory Fragments to obtain new Wielders). Obtaining Darvela does not require purifying Black Core. Reply to PM (Plot-related communications from Wielders) whenever you get them.

• 1st Event (0 FP required):

Patrol any district (N) with Darvela (+5 FP points)

• 2nd Event (0 FP required):

Patrol N again, do not include Darvela

• 3rd Event (0 FP required):

Patrol N again with Darvela

• 4th Event (40 FP required):

Patrol N again with Darvela (+15 FP points)

• 5th Event (80 FP required):

Patrol Old Town with Darvela

• 6th Event (85 FP required, Darvela fatigue should be 50 or lower):

Patrol N again with Darvela

• 7th Event - (100 FP required):

Patrol Old Town with Darvela

Other Wielders that are also great after Awakening are Elusha (Mage) and Lulu (Mage).
