Defeat the Metal Golem

Walkthrough

You must complete Witch Hunt first, which will give you access to the secondary area of Witchwood. Before going there, I suggest changing to a vocation that will give you the ability to wield bows (Strider, Ranger or Assassin) You have to approach the metal golem to spring it back to life. This quest will automatically activate when the metal golem awakes.

The metal golem can't be defeated by attacking it directly. You have to find the scattered magic talismans powering it in the area and destroy them using physical attacks. You can find the amulets by following the source of the purple lights supplying the golem with energy. At least one of the talismans are located well above the tree branch. One of the talismans are also found near one of the golems. Just getting near it will activate it and make your job a lot harder.

When near its end, the golem will become enraged and will start using more aggressive and powerful attacks. Just steer clear or let your allies get its attention while you take out the talismans.
