Obtain a Pilgrim's Charm

Walkthrough

Talk to Clarus in the Abbey to accept this quest. This will become available after helping Quina in another sidequest “Talent in Bloom”. You have to gather the materials to create a Pilgrim's Charm or you might already found one earlier. Otherwise, you have to enter the Catacombs from its southern entrance. (accessed through a trapdoor in the ruins south of Gran Soren) This entrance is only passable if you managed to unbar it from within by going through the main entrance west of Deos Hills.

Once inside, you'll find Quina waiting. Talk to her and say Yes when she asks you. Escort her deep in the catacoms until you obtain the charm from a chest. You may have to defeat a Spectre here as well.

If you have the charm in your inventory (or bought one from Fournival), just talk to Clarus again and hand it over. You can finish the quest easier this way but with lesser exp and lesser number of curative flowers.
