There are various different types of pellets in Dragon Quest Treasures and they play an important role in the game as they are capable of doing everything from dealing elemental damage to healing and buffing your allies. This Pellet Guide will you everything you need to know about them.
In order to be able to craft pellets in Dragon Quest Treasures you must first unlock the pellet workshop by reaching Rank 2. When you reach Rank 2 you will be allowed to expand the facilities available at your base and one of these is the pellet workshop which is the reward for the side quest Pellet Production.
In the side quest Pellet Production Miss Cecily tasks you with asking Axel for help in opening the workshop. You will be able to find this expert engineer and former train mechanic at Cinderback Ridge below the train station you enter Cinderback Ridge from. To the left of Axel is a shop that sells pellets, make sure before you talk to Axel you take the opportunity to stock up on pellets. Alex will agree to help you with Pellet Production provided you retrieve a cinderblock for him first.
You will be able to find the cinderblock on the Cold Shoulder, which is straight north of the location you find Axel. To obtain this piece of rock you will need to face various enemies including She-Slime and a King She-Slime, so it is important that you go prepared. Once you have defeated the enemies and retrieved the cinderblock from the cave you simply have to return it to Axel and then head back to your base when you are ready to complete the Pellet Production quest.
