Dragon Quest Treasures Cheats, Tips Strategy

Below is a collection of hints and tips that will help you to progress in the game. These include why you should save your Chimaera Wings and why you should complete the Daily Quests. As well as these hints and tips, we also have a Beginners Guide here which goes into more details on some of the tips we have below:

  • Save your Chimaera Wings
  • The Chimaera Wing is an item that casts the Zoom spell when used, a spell that allows instantaneous transport to previously visited locations. Don't waste your Chimaera Wings, they are hard to obtain and come in useful when you find you are outnumbered or your monsters are on the verge of getting knocked out and losing the treasure they are carrying. When faced with those situations a Chimaera Wing can be used to instantly whisk you and your team to the safety of your base.

  • Stock Up on Pellets
  • Although it is possible to melee your way through Dragon Quest Treasures you will find it a lot easier if you mix in as much pellet play as you can. Try to collect as many elemental pellets as possible as these are capable of taking down powerful foes. Also stock up on healing pellets as it is inevitable your gang will take damage during combat and will need to be healed. Take a look at our Pellet Guide to find out about the different types of pellets in the game.

  • Recruit Monsters
  • It is important that you are always recruiting monsters in Dragon Quest Treasures. Don't worry about the limited space as a few hours into the game you will be able to expand the barracks for your base camp. Having a good variety of monsters at your disposal will give you more choice when selecting the gang you want to dispatch. Also, having a wide selection of monsters with different Favorite Treasures can help you achieve a higher Golden Ratio, which in turn will guarantee you better loot recovered by each of your dispatched gangs. Take a look at our Best Monsters Guide to find out which monsters are the best in Dragon Quest Treasures.

  • Complete the Daily Quests
  • Try to complete the Daily Quests in Dragon Quest Treasures within a day. This feature resets every 24 hours and is a good source for obtaining Chimera Wings. Take a look at our Daily Quests Guide to find out everything you need to know about them.

  • Use your Dragon Attacks
  • As you venture through each area in Dragon Quest Treasures you will start to build up a golden meter (this can be seen under Erik or Mia's character portrait). When you max that out and then hold the R button of your controller you will open the 'Dragon Attack' menu. Each of the monsters in your gang has a powerful Dragon Attack which will deal serious damage to the enemy when unleashed. If you activate either of the siblings' Dragon Attacks which are known as Wild Side you will temporarily increase all of their stats and movement speed.
