How to Upgrade your Base Guide

After discovering and operating the train early in Dragon Quest Treasures, Erik and Mia will be able to claim the castle on Eggshell island as the gang’s new base. It is important that you add to the total value of your treasure vault by collecting as much loot as possible so that the total value of your treasure vault hits certain points and the rank of your gang increases.

When this happens it will result in you unlocking new options to add to the castle's amenities. It will also increase your ranks giving you and your gang passive bonuses such as having more treasure troves or increasing the amount of items you can steal from enemies.
