How do you Join a Clan?

In destiny 2 clans are a way for up to 100 players to join together under a banner that unites them and allows the community of players within the Clan to play and progress together, communicate, manage, and build their community. Like most games that have clans you will find that some are open to everyone while others you will need to request permission or be invited. Upon joining a clan you will be given a Clan Banner item from Suraya Hawthorne.

When you have joined a clan every member will contribute Experience to the overall Clan Rank progress and the banner item you were given by Suraya Hawthorne when you joined the clan will start to give you perks like better drops and glimmer. Also, as members complete various milestones every member of the clan will be rewarded extra engrams. Milestones include competing in a certain number of strikes or Crucible matches.

Clans can keep their Oathkeeper’s Score up by coming to the aid of lone players in endgame activities in Guided Games. In Guided Games solo players who need help are able to browse through and select Clans that are willing to assist them.
