Children Of Morta Rune Guide

In Children Of Morta runes are found in dungeons and have the capability to increase the strength of a characters attack or ability. Characters can hold a single rune for each attack/ability they have. Runes gradually wear out upon use and they are lost on death. Accelerated Core:

Increase primary attack speed at the cost of removing Sidewinders.

Absorption Slam:

Shield Slam pulls enemies toward John.

Arcane Slam:

Shield Slam leaves an energy field that damages enemies.

Arcane Stave:

Swirling Staff leaves a pool of energy that damages enemies.

Arcane Strap:

Scourging Whip leaves a pool of energy that damages enemies.

Auxiliary Cyclones:

Lucy releases small tornadoes instead of fire Sidewinders.

Avalanche:

Heaven’s Strike rains down even more swords.

Barrier Thorns:

Atman Barrier deals thorn damage, reflecting damage back to attackers.

Blazing Hammer:

Primary attacks burn enemies.

Blood Smite:

Smite drains health, fills stamina and rage.

Blood Song:

Harmonic Slam deals damage at the cost of inflicting damage to Linda.

Bloody Whirlwind:

Whirlwind uses health if out of stamina.

Bludgeoning Fall:

Heaven’s Strike stuns enemies.

Boom Winds:

Cyclone explodes on destruction.

Burning Chaos:

Cyclone has a chance to conjure Sidewinders.

Concussive Knives:

Fan of Knives explodes on impact, damaging nearby enemies.

Cone of Knives:

Fan of Knives is condensed into a small cone in front of Kevin.

Corporeal Gift:

Regenerate health at maximum Frenzy.

Corpse Explosion:

Chance for enemies to explode on death, damaging any nearby enemies.

Cloaked Eruption:

Create an explosion when activating Shadow Cloak.

Crippling Blow:

Primary attacks slow and knock back enemies.

Crushing Vent:

Shield Slam releases a large shockwave.

Dauntless Swing:

Primary attacks deal more damage but fill less stamina.

Dazing Dance:

Shadow Dance stuns enemies.

Dazing Sham:

Decoy will stun melee attackers.

Dazing Strike:

Primary attack has a chance to stun enemies.

Deadly Storm:

Frenzy effect will increase critical chance also while increasing attack speed.

Death Blossom:

Sidewinders launch in all directions when using primary attack.

Death's Song:

Harmonic Slam places a trap that triggers on enemy contact.

Decelerating Wind:

Enemies hit by Joey during Whirlwind are slowed.

Decoy Rebound:

Decoy deals thorn damage, reflecting damage back to attackers.

Demolishing Smite:

Divine Smite stuns enemies for longer.

Deus Gladius:

Primary attack cast Heaven’s Strike on a critical hit.

Devouring Storm:

Cyclone pulls in enemies more forcefully.

Dispersed Shot:

Explosive Crescendo has a larger area of effect at the cost of reducing damage.

Dragon Gaze:

Primary attack will penetrate enemies.

Drastic Twirl:

Whirlwind finishes with an explosion.

Ember String:

Sidewinders have a chance to chain between multiple enemies on impact.

Ethereal Gift:

Regenerate rage at maximum Frenzy.

Evasion Protocol:

Push enemies back and fill the evade bar.

Fan of Pain:

Fan of Knives damage is increased but decreases the range.

Flame Kiss:

Primary attacks burn enemies with fire.

Freezing shot:

Primary attack will slow enemies.

Focus Mantra:

Gain stamina for every enemy hit by Harmonic Slam.

Furrow of Fire:

Shield Dash leaves a fire trail that damages enemies.

Get Back!:

Primary attack will knock back enemies.

Give It All:

Primary attack consumes stamina to deal additional damage.

Grim's Dance:

Shadow Dance has a chance to strike more enemies.

Grim's Whip:

Scourging Whip inflicts fire damage, burning enemies over time.

Ground Shaker:

Smite shakes the ground, slowing enemies hit by it.

Hammer of the Gods:

Primary attacks inflict lightning damage.

Heaven's Wreath:

Heaven’s Strike falls in a circle around John.

Heavenly Arcane:

Heaven’s Strike leaves behind pools of energy to damage enemies.

Herculean Proxy:

Decoy has more health.

Homing Twirl:

Whirlwind pulls enemies towards Joey.

Impeding Staff:

Swirling Staff slows enemies.

Implosive Shot:

Explosive Crescendo inflicts more damage at the cost of reducing the area of effect.

Incendiary Shot:

Explosive Crescendo inflicts fire damage, burning enemies over time.

Inferno:

Primary attacks cause fire damage, burning enemies over time.

John's Cloak Strike:

John's Heaven's Strike falls down when Kevin activates Shadow Cloak.

John's Critical Protection:

John's Heaven’s Strike casts with critical hits of primary attacks.

John's Decoy Protection:

John's Heaven’s Strike casts when Decoy health is reduced by 50%.

John's Harmonic Protection:

John's Heaven’s Strike casts on enemies stunned by Harmonic Slam.

John's Roaring Protection:

John's Heaven’s Strike casts when Mark activates Swirling Staff.

John's Scourging Protection:

John's Heaven’s Strike casts when Mark activates Scourging Whip.

John’s Vengeance:

Heavenly Strike is cast when Vengeance is active.

Jostling Knives:

Fan of Knives will knock back enemies.

Jostling Tune:

Harmonic Slam will knock back enemies.

Justice for All:

Primary attack damage is increased and divided between all enemies hit.

Kevin's Crescendo of Knives:

Kevin releases Fan of Knives at the end of an Explosive Crescendo.

Kevin's Cyclone of Knives:

Kevin releases Fan of Knives when Cyclone ends.

Kevin's Decoy Watch:

Kevin emerges from the shadows to strike those attacking the Decoy.

Kevin's Harmonic Watch:

Kevin emerges to execute Shadow Dance during a Harmonic Slam.

Kevin’s Knife Assist:

Primary attacks release Fan of Knives.

Kevin’s Punch Watch:

Kevin emerges to execute Shadow Dance upon a critical primary attack.

Kevin's Scourging Knives:

Kevin releases Fan of Knives when Scourging Whip is cast.

Kevin's Shield of Knives:

Perform Kevin's Fan of Knives during a Shield Slam.

Kevin's Shield Watch:

Blocking attacks has a chance to release Kevin's Shadow Dance.

Knockout Block:

Blocking will stun enemies.

Legandary Shot:

Shoots five arrows.

Linda's Cloaked Crescendo:

Linda launches an Explosive Crescendo when Kevin activates Shadow Cloak.

Linda's Dashing Crescendo:

Linda fires an Explosive Crescendo at the end of a Shield Dash.

Linda's Decoy Crescendo:

Linda launches an Explosive Crescendo when Decoy health is reduced by 50%.

Linda’s Explosive Smite:

Smite is followed by Linda’s Explosive Crescendo.

Linda's Critical Crescendo:

Linda launches an Explosive Crescendo upon a critical primary attack.

Linda's Scourging Crescendo:

Linda launches an Explosive Crescendo when Mark activates Scourging Whip.

Lucy's Cyclone Cloak:

Lucy summons a Cyclone when activating Shadow Cloak.

Lucy's Cyclone Crescendo:

Lucy summons a Cyclone at the impact of an Explosive Crescendo.

Lucy's Cyclone of Knives:

Lucy summons a Cyclone upon activating Fan of Knives.

Lucy's Cyclone Staff:

Lucy summons a Cyclone during Swirling Staff.

Lucy's Cyclone Whip:

Lucy summons a Cyclone when Scourging Whip is cast.

Lucy's Heavenly Cyclone:

Lucy summons a cyclone at the impact of Heaven’s Strike.

Lucy's Shield Cyclone:

Release Lucy's Cyclone during a Shield Slam.

Lucy’s Storm Smite:

Lucy’s cyclone is cast when Joey uses Smite.

Mark's Decoy Barrage:

Destruction of the Decoy summons the Mark’s Guardian fist at the Decoy location.

Mark's Decoy Training:

Immediately refill the dash bar after Decoy is placed.

Mark's Edge Barrage:

Primary attack has a chance to release Mark’s Guandian fist.

Mark's Frenzied Barrage:

Chance to perform Mark’s Guardian fist when at max Frenzy.

Mark's Harmonic Barrage:

Mark attacks enemies close to Linda while performing primary attack.

Mark's Harmonic Training:

Immediately refill the dash bar after Harmonic Slam.

Mark’s Helping Hand:

Mark’s Punch of Concentration is cast on critical primary attack hits.

Martyrdom:

Decoy explodes upon destruction.

Master Shot:

Primary attack releases 3 arrows at a time.

Measure the Distance:

Primary attack gains a damage boost the further the target is.

Mighty Crippling Blow:

Knocks enemies back and stuns them.

Mighty Touch:

Primary attack will knock back enemies.

Mob Breaker:

Primary attack deals additional damage the more enemies you hit with a single blow.

Mob Force:

Swirling Staff deals increased damage as enemies grow in numbers.

Mob Scourge:

Scourging Whip deals increased damage as enemies grow in number.

Mountain Strike:

Executing a critical primary attack releases the Guardian fist.

Moving Onward:

Cyclone moves directly forward.

Orbiting Tornado:

Cyclone orbits around Lucy.

Paralyzing Whirlwind:

Swirling Staff stuns enemies.

Penetrating Knives:

Fan of Knives penetrates enemies.

Prevailing Smite:

Smite leaves a pool of magic on the ground that damages enemies.

Pulsating Wrath:

Reach maximum Frenzy after an Execute attack.

Pyro Blade:

Primary attack deals fire damage, burning enemies over time.

Raging Rogue:

Frenzy effect will increase damage also while increasing attack speed.

Rapid Mirror:

Decoy has a shorter cooldown but less health.

Recharging Chant:

Harmonic Slam immediately resets Explosive Crescendo cooldown.

Resourceful Smite:

Killing 3 or more enemies drops a health globe.

Rocket Barrage:

Primary attacks explode on impact, damaging nearby enemies.

Rogue's Will:

Kevin stays in maximum Frenzy until hit by an enemy.

Ruthless Twirl:

Whirlwind fills rage.

Scourging Vent:

Scourging Whip releases a wave of magical energy.

Searing Mirror:

Decoy burns melee attackers.

Scorching Smite:

Enemies hit by Smite burn with fire.

Shoving Strike:

Primary attack knockbacks enemies.

Sky Menace:

Each Heaven’s Strike damages a larger area.

Smite of the Divine:

Divine Smite’s shock waves now travel forth in all directions.

Song of the Vampire:

Harmonic Slam drains enemy health to restore Linda's own.

Soothing Whirlwind:

Whirlwind gradually heals Joey with every hit landed.

Spirit Couple:

Successful primary attacks build up more rage, allowing Lucy to enter Guardian’s Rage sooner.

Spirit Lightning:

Primary attacks have a chance to inflict lightning damage.

Stamina Drain:

Primary attack siphons stamina from enemies.

Stampede:

Shield Dash releases a wave of magical energy.

Stinger:

Scourging Whip has an increased stun duration.

Stormception:

Whirlwind has a chance to summon small cyclones when hitting enemies.

Storm Mother:

Cyclone conjures additional smaller Tornadoes.

Stunning Shot:

Explosive Crescendo will stun enemies.

Stunning Twirl:

Enemies hit by Joey during Whirlwind are stunned.

Stunning Vengeance:

Primary attacks stun enemies when Vengeance is active.

Supportive Sword Fall:

John's Heaven’s Strike casts when Cyclone ends.

Surprising Storm:

Cyclone cancels enemy actions.

Swinging Vent:

Swirling Staff releases a wave of magical energy.

Swirl of Daggers:

Chance to attack in all directions at maximum Frenzy.

Sword Discharge:

Primary attack releases a wave of magical energy.

Tar Subterfuge:

On destruction, Decoy slows nearby enemies.

Toxic Lash:

Scourging Whip poisons enemies, dealing damage over time and reducing enemy attack power.

The Narrow:

Heaven’s Strike fall down in a line.

Three Degrees:

Primary attack launches 3 fireballs at the cost of removing Sidewinders.

Twirl of Blades:

Whirlwind releases a Fan of Knives when it ends.

Ultimate Storm:

Convert the large Cyclone into several smaller ones.

Vampiric Ambush:

Recover a small amount of health after Execute attack.

Venom Kiss:

Primary attack inflicts poison damage.

Venom Whirl:

Shadow Dance poisons enemies.

Vortex Shot:

Explosive Crescendo pulls enemies toward the center of the area of effect.

Weakening Blow:

Primary attacks weaken enemies.
