Introduction

Call of duty:WW is returning to the WW II theme...yet again.although this time around it isn't so much a bad thing.the storyline is very compelling and has some of the most brutal in game scenes I have witnissed in quite a while.even from the very beginning you see one of your comrads tortured to death, luckily your squad arrives in time to save you.

Throughout the story mode you will play as both the russians and american's,both sides are equally fun to play, but the best part of the entire storyline is the flamethrower mission.reasons why are not needed...

Graphics

Running off the call of duty 4 engine this game shows the capabilities of the wii.awesome graphics throughout and the maps are beutifully layed out.character models are average but that's the case in almost all shooters.also the game runs at 30 frames per second incase you wanted to know

Sound

The in game sounds are terrific, every gernade being thrown at you and all the bullets being shot left and right,it's just makes you feel like you are in WW II.the voice for the american's is a tad annoying, especially in online but that's really the only flaw in terms of sound

Gameplay

The best part about this game easily the best part of this game.the controls are nearly perfect and feel really good in the hands.I use the wii-more nunchuck combo but you can use the wii zapper

Basically you use the nunchuck to walk/run with the analog stick.Z button is used for aiming down the sight.and the C button is used for crouching.for the wii mote you use the B button to fire your weapon.the + button to throw your primary gernade and the - to use your secondary gernade.A button is used for sprinting. The left directional button let's you use your special weapon in online modes suich as artillary strike.the right button allows you to switch between weapons.the down directional buttons makes you do your awesome melee attack.and the up directional button is used for jumping.

All this may sound confusing but once in game you will feel very comfortable with the layout and will be owning noobs in no time :D

I should also add the game offer's other controls schemes incase you don't like this one.

Lastability

Like I said the single-player campaign should last 5-7 hours.now time to get into online

The wii version has a lot of downfalls in terms of online but what is there is still very good.what the wii version is lacking:no zombie mode,no capture the flag, and 8 online player limit while the hd console get a 16 player limit.

But like I said what's there is good.you can join in either team death match or reguler death match.when you first start online you will be able to access bootcamp until you reach the lvl of 8.once you reached that lvl you shold have had enough experience and should be able to take on the real big time players.there are also vetran and hardcore modes which are modes for the more advance players.I hardly go either since it seems like the same thing except for harder opponents.

Creating a class is essential in oline.you unlock more weapons,perks,side-arms and special gernades as you lvl which heavily increases play value.once at lvl 65 you have the option of going prestige,I am not too sure with the deal about this but the game says it's a tough choice so I will take there word

Once thing I will mention that is upsetting is that this game uses the cursed FC system and is not wii speak compatible.i'm hoping the new installement of call of duty for the wii will fix both of these issues

Overall

Although the wii version has an inferior online service,it makes up for it in the gameplay.the 50$ price tag isn't much, especially since the online modes can last you over 100 hours.

Final Score: 88%
