In Call of Duty: Warzone contracts are lootable items that you find naturally in the Warzone map. They are basically side-objectives you can pick up in the field to earn same extra cash and resources. Check out our What are Bounty, Scavenger, and Recon Contracts page to find out everything you need to know about them.
Contracts appear as random loots in crates and you can track them down in Call of Duty: Warzone by using the in-game map and zooming in on specific points of interest and looking for square-shaped items that will highlight their appearance when you point the crosshairs over it. You then need to reach the spot on the map and interact with the contract by picking it up. Doing so will give you a mission to complete which you can then choose to accept. Once a contract has been accepted you will be able to see the tracker on the left side of your screen just below the mini-map. There are currently three types of contracts in Call of Duty: Warzone:
This type of contract involves hunting down and eliminating a randomly designated enemy player on the map. You will be told where the player is and given a few minutes to locate and take them out. Remember that you can also be designated as a target if the game decides to place a bounty on you. If you can survive the hit, you will be rewarded in return.
This is the easiest type of contract to complete and involves finding and opening multiple Resupply Crates that are shown on the map. These are worthwhile missions to try and complete as the crates you are tasked with opening give you rare items such as legendary weapons, field upgrades, and Self-Revive kits. Try to complete these contracts if you want to get better loot.
If you choose to activae this type of contract you will need to go to a special location marked on your map where to complete it you must stay there and defend it for the allotted time. Recon contracts are the toughest of the three types of contracts to complete because once you accept it your team position will be marked on the map and will alert nearby opponents who will converge on your location. Successfully completing the contract will reward you with loot and cash that you can use purchase items from the Buy Stations.
