Call of Duty: Warzone is a free-to-play battle royale video game that allows online multiplayer combat among 150 players. It is a standalone companion game to 2019's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare that does not require purchase. Call of Duty: Warzone is set in the fictional city of Verdansk and features both cross-platform play and cross-platform progression between both games. It also features two modes, Plunder and Battle Royale, and introduces a new in-game currency system called Cash which is used at Buy Stations in and around Verdansk.
Before the actual match begins you can grind some XP on your weapons by getting kills in the in-game lobby, a pre-game 'warmup' mode which allows you to get in some practice before you load up.
Shoot Enemies while Parachuting
In Call of Duty: Warzone you can shoot people while you are still in the air from the initial plane ride. If you open your parachute and then close it again you will draw your weapon and will be able to shoot at any enemies that are near you whilst you plummet towards the ground. You can open your parachute multiple times when dropping from the plane and at any other time during the game when you're far enough from the ground.
Don't Forget to Ping
Call of Duty: Warzone has implimented a Ping system that is similar to the one that is used in Apex Legends. This handy sonar is enabled by the touch of the Ping button and will allow you to identify loot, locations, and enemy positions. It is particularly useful for instantly notifying your squad of an enemy presense. This can be easily done by double-tapping the Ping button.
