In Call of Duty: Warzone there is a whole array of weapons you can choose from, ranging from assault rifles to shotguns and sniper rifles. The majority of the weapons you find on the battlefield are stripped bare of attachments, there are however incentive 'named' weapons that offer fully-loaded setups with sights and attachments. Assault Rifles

You may also want to consider the MP5 which offers an all round combo of damage, handling, and range.

Shotguns

All of the shotguns in Call of Duty: Warzone fire buckshot which deals a massive amount of damage with the pellets that they release with each shot. Shoguns are easy to handle and are an indespensible weapon in close combat as they are capable of instantly taking down the enemy. The best shotgun in Call of Duty: Warzone is the double-barrel pump-action R9-0 which can be devestating in the right hands. The R9-0 works well when combined with an assault rifle, such as Oden or M4A1 as your primary weapons. Another good choice is the VLK Rogue which is capable of high damage, has excellent reload speeds, and a decent fire rate.

LMGs

LMGs are a cumbersome and unwieldy weapon that is slow in everything except rate of fire. They use high caliber bullets that can damage opponents at any range and typically come with a magazine that holds 100 to 150 or more bullets. The best LMG in Call of Duty: Warzone is the SA87 which has extremely good dropoff stats, does high damage per shot, and is easy to handle compared to the larger LMGs on offer. Pairing an LMG with a shotgun as the secondary weapon will give you a good loadout.

Sniper Rifles

Sniper Rifles have the most powerful bullets in the game and excel at taking down your opponent from range with one shot. This weapon can also have mods equipped to reduce its recoil and give it better control, it can also be fitted with long range scopes to increase the default 8x scope. The best sniper rifle in Call of Duty: Warzone when modded is the HDR which works well when combined with an SMG or a pistol as your secondary weapon.

Pistols

There is no need to use a pistol in Call of Duty: Warzone as there are primary weapons everywhere. If you want to add one to your custom loadout then go for the M19 which thanks to its semi-automatic firing mechanism and its rapid rate of fire works well in close combat. s
