How to Unlock Operators

There are 12 playable operators in Call of Duty: Vanguard and each of the characters is unique and also part of the storyline. As you progress through the campaign, you will learn more about the backstories of each character. This How to Unlock Operators Guide will tell you how to unlock each of them as playable characters, and also how operator favorite weapons impact multiplayer matches.

Operators in Call of Duty: Vanguard are basically skins, their sole particularity comes down to operator XP. Playing as a specific operator will enable you to gain XP boosts to progress through a total of 20 rewards. Some of them are general XP boosts, but there are also cosmetics such as skins, finishing moves, play of the game intros, and so on. Each of the operators in Call of Duty: Vanguard also has a favorite weapon, giving them an XP boost during use. It is therefore recommended that if you have a weapon you want to power up quicker, it is more beneficial to unlock and use the Operator who favors that weapon.
