Call of Duty: Vanguard Cheats and Tips
We have a collection of cheats and tips for this first-person shooter game that takes place during WWII and features some of the conflicts most famous battles. The game is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
Call of Duty: Vanguard Cheats and Tips
Call of Duty: Vanguard's campaign follows a band of multinational Allied heroes who have formed a Special Forces group tasked with snuffing out the Nazi threat once and for all.
The group, known as Vanguard, consists of a couple of British soldiers, an Australian explosives expert, an American pilot, and a Russian sniper. In total there are 12 playable characters available at launch within the game's multiplayer modes.

Below is a collection of cheats and tips that will help you to progress in the game. These include changing your FOV and why you should build different loadouts. As well as these hints and tips, we also have a Beginners Guide here which goes into more details on some of the tips we have below:
- Turn Off Motion Blur and Screen Shake
Two features that you may find annoying which come enabled straight away with Call of Duty: Vanguard are the Off Motion Blur and Shake Screen. If you find them distracting and hindering your performance, it is recommended that you switch them both off.
- Change your FOV
As soon as you jump into a match, it is recommended that you change Call of Duty: Vanguard's FOV (Field of View) settings to something you feel comfortable with. Simply go to the Options' menu and the 'Graphics' tab and scroll down to 'Field of View'.
Adjusting your FOV, so it is larger will not only help you to avoid things like motion sickness but also give you a competitive advantage as you will be able to see much more on your screen.
- Experiment with the Gunsmith
In Call of Duty: Vanguard the Gunsmith system allows you to modify the weapons in the game by adding attachments that alter their function and appearance.
Most of the weapons can be equipped with up to 10 attachments, which are unlocked via the XP that is earned by engaging in combat with that weapon. Make sure you experiment with the Gunsmith in order to narrow down which setup works best for your playstyle.

- Build Loadouts for Different Maps
Make sure you are prepared for every type of map by having different loadouts. For example, have an SMG loadout for small maps that have narrow spaces and leans towards close quarter combat. For larger maps with plenty of outdoor space, you may want to have a sniper rifle, so you can pick enemies off from a distance.

- Proceed with Caution
The running mechanics in Call of Duty: Vanguard are not as responsive as previous games in the series, this means rushing around corners into combat can get you easily killed. There are now more players and the maps are more compact than previously, so it is crucial that you proceed with caution when traversing the maps to increase your chances of staying alive.
- Complete the Objective
Make sure that you help your team out with the objective of the game mode (Kill Confirmed, Domination, etc.) that you select as doing so will enable you to earn more XP by winning games, so try to collect the most dog tags or rack up the most points.
