Astral Chain is a synergetic action game set in the Ark, a multi-cultural city in the near future. You play the role of an elite cop on the Neuron special task force who has to fight against the Chimera, mysterious alien creatures who have invaded the world when gates to another dimension suddenly appear. In order to resist the creatures humanity has developed a special weapon: the Legion. This weapon is a separate entity with its own attacks and abilities that acts as your partner and helps with your battles and investigations. Use the IRIS
Don't forget to use the IRIS during gameplay, activating it will bring up a full scale augmented reality display all around you that can provide you with a lot of useful information. It is a tool that can be used for uncovering items and persons of interest, it can also be used to display cases and reveal both the type and health of the enemies you are facing.
Upgrade your Gear
Whenever you are a the HQ remember to stop by the tech room on the third floor to have Tabitha upgrade your equipment. Enhancing your X-Baton and Legatus, the device on your arm that helps control your Legions will allow you to deal more damage. Upgrading costs credits and material codes so be sure to pick up every item you find on missions so you can sell any scrap to Tabitha’s colleague, Ted. Search Everywhere
Astral Chain is filled with things to see, do, and collect and it's up to you to find them. Talk to civilians, even if they have nothing to do with your mission, evesdrop on conversations, climb ladders, poke at dumpsters and wander into tunnels. You can also activate the IRIS and see what you can see happening in the different sectors of The Ark. Take Pictures Of Everything
Make sure you use Astral Chain's in-game camera to take pictures of co-workers, significant civilians, and the many enemy creatures you encounter so you fill the in-game database with information. You only need to take one picture of each subject.
Complete Orders
Try to complete as many orders as you can. Completed orders will grant you rewards such as rare codes which can be used for upgrades. They also give you photo filters for the in-game camera, cosmetic gear, and colour sets for customising your character's outfits. Regularly look over the 'Orders' menu and make note of what needs to be accomplished. Especially the orders that require you to take pictures of certain people or events.
Replay Files
Do not worry too much if you miss something as you can go to the computer at any time during the game and select a previously completed file to revisit. This enables you to take care of any side missions you may have missed, snap photos of characters who might not be available in later files, and harvest any lingering collectibles. Replaying completed files also gives you another opportunity to aim for an S+ rank for completing file objectives.
Avoid Damage
If you are low on health during combat and need to avoid taking more damage you may want to consider performing the following tactics. If you mount your Beast Legion and literally run around in circles the enemies will struggle to hit a moving target and you will give yourself the time needed to recharge your skills. You can summon the Axe Legion and stay inside his shield to give yourself the time needed to heal. You could also use the skill 'Hit Rush' which will enable you to retreat while your Legion deal with the enemy. | Visit the computer in the Command Room of the HQ. |

| Press ZL when you defeat an enemy and your Legatus lights up during the animation. |

| To unleash a Legion attack you need to press ZL when your Legatus lights up. |

| A chain bind will quickly boost your score, to perform it you simply hold the ZL button and while doing so move your legion around the intended target. |
