10 Things We'd Like To See In Pokemon 4th Generation Remakes

New Gym Leaders

Since I think it would be an excellent idea for the Pokemon Company to make the 4th Generation Remakes more of sequels above anything else, this would then allow them to do another thing that I believe will help put a new spin on the Sinnoh Region. And that is none other than have a number of new Gym Leaders replace some of the lesser remembered ones from the Sinnoh Region. This was first seen in the sequels of Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 - before that with Wally as the Hoenn Region Champion in Pokemon Emerald, replacing the great Steven - which brought to life three brand new Gym Leaders. It made complete sense in those games how some of the Gym Leaders would’ve moved on from this status and position, and it would do the exact same thing in the 4th Generation Remakes.

But I think the Pokemon Company could go one step further, doing something that has never been before in the Mainstream Pokemon Games by making the original avatars of Lucas and Dawn two of the newest Sinnoh Region Gym Leaders. And why stop there? The Pokemon Company could even add Barry as a new Gym Leader, making one of the most iconic rivals in the history of the franchise a Gym Leader like that of Blue back in Pokemon Gold, Silver, Crystal, HeartGold and SoulSilver. This would absolutely be groundbreaking for the Pokemon Franchise, and it would be the newest and greatest of twists in the Mainstream Pokemon Games. It would even be awesome to see, at least I think it would be, if these characters were given Pokemon similar to the ones they had in both the Anime Series and Manga Series (yet still focused around one given typing of Pokemon). Furthermore, this will see the creation of new avatars for players to select from, giving them another new aspect to experience.
