More New Pokemon, New Z-Moves & Pokemon Band Update Information Released

It’s looking like the last big release of information for Pokemon Sun & Moon before the month of October Comes, and though it didn’t bring so much excitement with it, there was still a lot of news and clarification given about a few things still left in Pokemon Limbo.

The most thrilling piece leaked was the news of certain Game Exclusive Pokemon, including too brand new Pokemon! The first new Pokemon will be called Passimian – a prime ape – who will be a pure Fighting Type with the new ability of Receiver (receives ally Pokemon’s Ability if it faints in a Double Battle); it is exclusive to Pokemon Sun. Next came Oranguru – another monkey – who will be a Normal / Psychic Dual Type with the abilities of Inner Focus and Telepathy; it’s exclusive to Moon. Oranguru also comes with the new move of Instruct that allows a target Pokemon to use its last move instantly (best for Double Battles).

More news came about Rockruff’s Evolution Forms too, officially being called Lycanroc (Pure Rock Type). Its Midday Form, exclusive to Sun, has the abilities of Keen Eye and Sand Rush; its Midnight Form, exclusive to Moon, has the abilities Keen Eye and Vital Spirit.

Even more Z-Moves clarifications came as well. Pikachu will know a Z-Move called Catastropika, which deals an immense amount of damage. Eevee will know a Z-Move called Extreme Evoboost, which boosts all of its Stats by Two Stages.

Including in all of this was the confirmation of Trainer Customization that includes trainer being able to use many different colors, as well as the feature to groom their Pokemon. The Pokemon Company also has now said that PokeTransporter & PokeBank will be accessible to all Gen Six Games as well as the virtual copies of Pokemon Red, Blue & Yellow. Red, Blue and Yellow Pokemon cannot be traded to Gen Six Games, nor can Pokemon Transported from Gen Six Games to Sun & Moon can be reversed. PokeBank will also not be available for such features until the start of the new year, instead at the time Sun & Moon are released.
