Six New Pokemon Added To The Alola Region

With perhaps the final Pokemon Sun & Moon Update for July comes Six New Pokemon to the Seventh Generation! Two of which were released previously a few days ago in the July Corocoro Magezine, but new and more details have even come out about them as well! And let's start with the ones that were released in the CoroCoro Magezine, shall we?

Those two Pokemon shall be know as Mimikyu and Bewear. Mimikyu remains a Ghost / Fairy Type with the ability Disguise, which allows it to escape damage for the first hit that lands on it (changing forms afterwards). Bewear also remains a Normal / Fighting Type, but was given the ability Fluffy that halves the damage of moves with direct contact but doubles the damage taken in from Fire Type Moves.

The next four Pokemon are to be called Wimpod, Bounsweet, Comfey, and Munsdale. Wimpod is a Bug / Water Type with the ability Wimp Out, which allows Wimpod to flee from battle or switch with another Pokemon when its HP drops below half. Bounsweet is a pure Grass Type with the abilities Leaf Guard, closely resembling a cherry or fruit.

Comfey is a pure Fairy Type with the abilities Flower Veil and the newly release Triage. Triage gives all of Comfey's healing moves top priority in battle. And finally, Mudsdale is a pure Ground type that resemble none other than a mule. It was given the abilities Own Tempo and the new ability of Stamina, which increases its Defense Stat by one stage each type it's hit by an attack.

But that's not all! Also released in today's news was newest features of Hyper Training and running Personal Competitions in the Pokemon Global Link! Hyper Training is a lot like Super Training from the Sixth Generation, but instead of training your Pokemon's Effort Values through little games, a player can trade what are known as Bottle Caps in order to increase one EVs Stat for a given Pokemon by 100 Points.

And as for the Personal Competitions, players can virtually set all the rules for their own tournaments. This includes the Name of the competition, setting the Rule Set, setting the Pokedex Restrictions, enforcing Pokemon Restrictions, as well as personally setting the Duration, Timers, Battles Per Days, Competition Type (Private or Public), and the Participating Trainers (everyone or only specified ones).

So what are your thoughts on all of this news?!?! Do you love or hate the newest Alola Region Pokemon? What about the new features of Hyper Training and Personal Competitions? Comment and rate below with all of your thoughts and opinions!
