Top 10 TV Shows that Should be Made into a Major Game

1. Breaking Bad

Admittedly, these last two choices weren't as covert as they could've been, but there's no contest when it comes to Breaking Bad. A family man turned to meth producer, accompanied by a cavalcade of mayhem around an otherwise normal suburban life; there hasn't been a compelling show of this magnitude in years. It's due for a major release and not one that quickly takes money and runs. We deserve the same, strangely alluring world as the one shown on our TV. Even if we need to wait a year or so more, this needs to happen.

Walter White, the man in question, suffers from cancer and needs to raise a giant pile of money the insurance won't cover. A lowly chemistry teacher doesn't make that much, but when presented with the figures any random druggie collects from bad batches of chemical compounds, the path is clear: Walter needs to get in the drug trade. Unfortunately, money isn't nearly the only aspect that comes with crime. What follows is a never-ending spree of horrifying events, fueled not just by a lack of morality, but by specifically motivated greed and pride. No one who looks innocent truly is and those who are without sin are those who will suffer the most.

To hammer in the same unoriginal choice used for the laureate, Breaking Bad would totally work as a Grand Theft Auto-esque open world. All instances are there. Drugs, guns and violence can be offered by the meth business, while housing, fast food dinners and auxiliary activities can be done within humdrum life. Walter White can also serve as one of gaming's few aging protagonists put in such a heavy role. While younger co-lead Jesse would fit perfectly as a hoodlum that goes around town, doing whatever, Walter is always the catalyst for amoral behavior. It is perfectly possible to go to a strip club or run over pedestrians, just because that's what pops up in this undercover sociopath's mind. Who knows? Maybe cancer can still play a part in the game and introduce a roguelike permadeath element. We just want more of this universe, now!
