Introduction

Animal Crossing: Wild World is a sequel to the original Animal Crossing on the Nintendo Gamecube. Events occur in the game, whether you are playing or not! The game starts out as your character in a taxi, moving to a new town to start a new life. The frog driving the taxi will interpret you with questions, like your name and what town you are going to. Then, the taxi pulls up to Town Hall and your life begins.

Graphics

The graphics of AC:WW are slightly moderate. The trees in your town are 2-D, which is a small problem. Otherwise, everything else is pretty good. The ground is okay. The insects on the trees and ground are cool too. Inside your house, the graphics of your wallpaper, carpet and furniture is great, too.

Sound

The sound of the game is the same as the graphics: moderate. There isn't much music in the game. There is music for when you are outside, different music for each hour of the day. Then, you have K.K Slider's music. You can recieve over 50 different tunes from him, and they are all great. Then, we have the sound of the game. The sound effects like the ocean, animal's voices, and insect's noises are moderate.

Gameplay

The gameplay is excellent, the best part. You always have so much to do! You can fish, catch bugs, talk to your villagers, go shopping, re-arrange furniture in your house, or earn money to pay off your house loan! The game doesn't have a real goal or story mode, so it just goes on and on! However, it gets old. That takes us to our next subject.

Lastability

Even though Animal Crossing: Wild World is a great simulator game and has excellent gameplay, the lastibility is a limit of months, depending on your taste or how much time you spend video games. My time of video games is about 3-4 hrs. On weekdays, and 5-6 hours on weekends and vacations. I got my copy of AC:WW in December of '05, when it came out. By late March of '06, I was about sick of it. I ran out of stuff to do. So, the game is really fun while it lasts, but it gets old fast. By the way, I time traveled a lot, so that ran out it's lastability. Don't time travel if you want it to last.

Overall

Overall, Animal Crossing: Wild World is a nice game. It's a great game for you if you like open-ended games, or simulator games or games with no real goal or story mode. I liked it until it went whoo-hoo-I-don't-care on me. So, get your copy of Animal Crossing: Wild World!
