I'm at level 21 and I just noticed my pip-boy is realy bright and I can't ready or see anything on it.how do I fix it or make it go away?

The problem you are speaking of has occured to my Pip-Boy as well on occassion. It hasn't happened in awhile(knock on wood), so I am not exactly sure of the method I used to fix it, but if it's always bright, you may have saved before you chose 1 of these fix it methods and that would mean your save file is corrupted & you would have to start a brand new game. Fun, fun, fun; I know, but I was half way through the game & whenever I sold anything the transaction went through, but no caps were accredited to my billfold. I questioned Bethesda or Xbox about this and the response I got was "Probably file corruption, start over". But I do believe to get my pip-boy back to normal I either slept or shut my consol off. The problem you are speaking about is just one of a few w/ this title & I'm disappointed about that because I love me some Fallout, how do you like all the game freezes & the caravan players who no longer give you the oppertunity to play them(not sure if that's an in-game problem or just that I beat certain individuals to often)? Hope my answer was a little help.

My Pip-Boy has done this occasionlly, hasn't done it for awhile(Knock on wood. 1 of the updates might have fixed the issue, don't know if you've got LIVE). Not exactly sure which of these methods made it go back to normal, but if you've saved before you tried either of these your file may be corrupted & that would mean starting over from a save prior the bright Pip-Boy delema or if you don't have one of those saves starting over from the beginnig. But I either slept or shut my console off, then turned it back on. Hope this was helpful.

Did you ever stop to think that the pip-boy's flash light is on?
If the answer is "Yes" then hold down the pip-boy button.

The way I fixed this was simple-exit out pip-boy menu, turn your light on then off and it should be fine again. This glitch still happens with the latest patch but as far as I'm aware (as I havent encountered any issues) your dat is perfectly fine.
