You can kill the the corpser super easy all you do is shot the soft belly and when it screams unload a few rounds and it will move back. Continue to repeat this until you get it to go on the platform. Then you will see the smashable clamps and all you do is stand on it and when it attacks roll out of the way. Wretches will come use your shotgun to melee them. Go Get 'em!!! :)

This is an easy and very quick way to kill a berserker:

. Hammer Of Dawn her ass
. Then grenade tag it
. Stand back

Voila! One dead berserker.
This works because the HOD temporarily weakens her armor, meaning bullets and explosions can harm her and grenade tag means instant death for any enemy on any difficulty with the exception of bosses
(Seeders Corsper and General RAAM)

When you get to the weps. Before you open the door(if you don't already have it)grab a shotgun and a lancer.After the cutscene,take cover behind the first cement block you see.Order Dom to cease fire and wait for the Kryle to leave RAAM.At that point,shoot RAAM with the lancer until the Kryle come back.Repeat this until he is in the middle of the square in front of you.Then order Dom to attack.This should make RAAM turn the other way.When Dom gets in the square tell him to take cover.At this point,blindfire RAAM until you kill him.

Do the Torque bow and Sniper Rifle routine. But only this time when he gets close to you... Just Grenade Tag him! It should work

Ok... Its just you and your enemy back to back on the same jump-able object. If he stands up rev your chainsaw while facing him (standing up) and he'll be chopped up.

when you first see RAAM he jumps off a ledge.when RAAM gets close to you , RUN to where he jumped off of. there is a troika turret. get on it and fire BUT DO IT QUICKLY BECAUSE HE COULD SEND HIS KRYLL AFTER YOU AND YOURE IN THE DARK WITH THE TROIKA. Now as we all know, we tend to die alot in a multiplayer match but there is two ways you can survive better, now if you want the kills then arm yourself with a shotgun and maybe waste some rounds so you got one bullet left so you can get active as that will blow a hole in the opponent easyier, or if you want to eliminate opponets without being blown quick then ask fopr some backup from you're team.

There Are Thirty Cog Tags And They are hard to find but to make it abit easy look for a red gear logo pasted on the wall if u find a large room with that logo u bound to find a cog tag in there

The Easiest Way to Kill General Raam Is To Torgue Him If u Succesfully Torque him about 12 times u will easily kill him ofcourse it does require u to have torque skills or if ur not that good then do it on Split Screen with a friend or online.

Just for those who didn't know, you can do a player match with some friends to get these achievements, it doesnt need to be on ranked..

If you see the Gears of War symbol (the red skull with the red gear around it) then a COG Tag is nearby. After I found this out, I quickly found about twenty of them when I played on insane, but the other ten must be hidden really good.

1) The first secret gamer picture you can get is by beating insane difficulty it shows Marcus Fenix with a red gear symbol behind him

You want to get a grenade then get a pistol out shoot once then while it's reloading push up on the d-pad as if to get out grenades hit reload more than 3 times eg 5 then chuck all of the grenades if you have done this right you should have grenades out but can't see them then you can tag as many times a you want if you can't do or want more glitches add me joshpq with no caps or spaces just how it's writen ENJOY!!!

When you play online, when you start you have one frag which is smoke. If you haven't done it it's good to do. When you get close to an enemy tag them with the frag and they will run away with smoke coming from them.

If you go to canals on the side you have to go left to get to go under your bidge is the side you need to be on. When you first reach the first fleet of stairs to the left of your bridge there is a piller to the right that you must get on by pushing A. Once ther crouch with left analog and you will see the sign to jump over stuff. Press a and you will jump into the wall. The only thing is that you will fall back out. This is the begginning of a glitch to get into the walls of canals. If I figure the rest of the glitch out I will post again. This really works.

Ok heres one...You can roadie run with the chainsaw active

1)Press the LB button and the B button while have the lancer equipped, if it works the chainsaw will rev

2)Once doing the following step above, let go of the LB button while keeping hold of the B button, now you will see if you press and hold the A button to roadie run you will see that your chainsaw is running. 3)Be aware only use this glitch with your friends as other people will just send you bad reviews ( there is an easy way to see if someone has doen the chainsaw glitch on you, Your body will explode as soon as they touch you with the chainsaw...and they will still be chainsawing you even though your body has exploded)-_-

When sniping online it can be a little hard to get kills.(1.when you snipe try not to move because it will mess up your shot.(2.an easy kill with the sniper it with the active reload you can down them in one shot.(3.if you can't get the acive reload shoot him with a normal bullet and wack him with your arm and he should drop to the floor.

If you are doing co-op this works even better
Be sure the boomer is somewhat distracted
Run up to it and stick it with a grenade
Jump backwards and run
Now he's dead

When playing online you can get easy chainsaw kills when you have more then one person alive one your team.1) if there is only one person on the other team and all he is doing is taking cover have one person take cover and shot back. When they start shooting run around where he can't see you and chainsaw them form behind. 2)when people have there lancer out they will want to chainsaw someone so wait for them to rev. And then shot to jam them then run up and put our cahinsaw in them. This is also an easy way to get grenade kills.

If you cannot beat RAAM here is a little help. On the map section you fight RAAM, there are four small concrete blocks that you can take cover on. Go to the top right block and take cover. For some reason, maybe a glitch in my disk, he will not come around the square. He stands there and tries to shoot through it. He can hit you but it only hurts a small bit. If you look to your right there is a small curved wall that you can ricochet a grenade off of and get between his legs. The explosion sends the Krill away and after the leave shoot as many Lancer or Gnasher bullets as you can into his face (Blindfiring helps on Insane). If it does not kill him and you run out of grenades, run past him and mantle over and takecover on the long concret barricade behind him. He should send the Krill after you. If he does blind fire at him until he dies.

In the Fuel Depot, go to the front of either of the trucks that the LongShots are in. Continually hold forward and tap A repeatedly. If you are lucky, you will be on top of the truck, and can shoot from there. Be warned, there is no way down from this position. Also, it does not always work.

If you have read my Higher Limits sub, then you know where to go. However, it is very difficult to get down from this position. To get back down, have another team member climb from the small box to the larger one and stand against the large box. You can then use them to walk off of the box.

In the Fuel Depot, if you start in the housing area for the vehicles, run to snag the LongShot and then run to the right. There is a small box with a larger box next to it. Go to the end of the small box that is closes to where you started and hide against it. Then, jump onto the box and lean into the larger box. You should be standing then. Crouch with the Left Stick and then climb onto the larger box by pressing forward and A. Use this position to snipe people.

To stick someone with a frag grenade, first off get a frag. Run up to someone and melee them( b button) and the frag will stick to them.

Warning: once the grenade is stuck, the person can still run after you and blow you up too.

Berserkers cannot see you but the can hear and smell you the only way to kill them is to get them out side and use the hammer of dawn when you make her run in to something is the best time to use the hammer of dawn when you hit her she will turn red and you can shoot her with the lancer(chainsaw) or run up and stick her with a grenade.

In case you are new to Gears of War and are doing pretty bad, you may not be taking enough cover. It is very important in this game to do so, as the Locust Horde can be a little... Unfriendly at times.

Go to the level Rooftops and throw a smoke grenade in to the broken windows across from the hammer of dawn.

You will enjoy it.

Ok. In Act 5 Pale horse. Grab a sniper and an arrow thing. He is invincible when the bats are near him. Use the arrows to get the bats away. Then perfect reload and headshot him. Do it like 5 times and your good. The second way is...in Co-op,have 1 guy grab a sniper and another the arrows. Make sure the arrow dude keeps the bats off him...when the come back on shoot at again. At the times when the arrows and off....snipe his....head off

My friend found a glitch in the Fuel Depot map. Go into the warehouse with the bottles on the shelves and shoot one of the white bleach bottles on to the ground. Kick it or shoot it at the little step that you can take cover on. Take cover directly on top of the bottle and try to climb over. You will fall through to the bottom of the map. If you get it just right, you can get to the propane tank and peek your head out and people can walk on you and it will hurt you a little bit. You might fall down realy deep and you can kill yourself. If you are a noob player you can hide down there so your team will either win or draw (because nobody can kill you-if you shoot down there the bullets always miss). As with my other post, you can send me a friend invite and I can show you.

When you are in the train station map in multiplayer, go to the left side of the train track. Go a little bit forward and you should see a section of wall shaped like \____/.

Take cover on it and do a Roadie Run across it. If you do it right, you should be crouching on top of the low wall (keep trying if it doesn't work the first time). Jiggle the left stick until you stand up.

Follow the wall and you can walk on it. Now for the fun part! Keep going until you see a small tower that is next to the edge of the rubble. There should be a little slant on the side.

Run at it and you will fall down onto the outside of the map. You can not be killed (that I know of-I don't swear by it). Run around and you can go through the mountains. It's hilarious!

If you throw a grenade down the blackness it will keep going for a long time and you can see it. (Send me a friend invite if you can't do it. I'll be happy to help.)-----Alienspider1 :)

It is much easier to play the game on co-op especially at general raam.if you can't find a friend to play with then the xbox live co-op system is very easy to us.you can continue off from where you left it in single player mode.

To get the cluster kill achievment there is an easy way.in act 3 evolution after you find the stranded and you are walking through a room with wooden planks for the floor the stranded will fall through and get atacked by wretches.-make sure you have grenades- jump down and run around until you think you have enough wretches folllowing you.tag one of them (melee with grenade equipped) or you could try just throwing the greande.you should kill a group of them.you can reload as many times as you want to get the acheivment.

When outside use the hammer of dawn and shoot the grubs don't worry about the
Flying guys they are taken care of by your squad!

P.S: This is a biginners hint!

Ok here is a good hint when you are near the last lvl to be able to take out the boss have the bow (if u dont already have the bow u r messed up) and 3 ammo for it you will kill the boss so much quicker than with the normal guns

To kill him get on co-op or if your really good single player well after the krill in the sky is gone hurry up and run to the trokkia gun and shoot for your life because he has a wepon that is like a trokkia so watch out.
