When you snipe someone in a match thats not hardcore keep your eye on the scpoe for 3 seconds after you kill them or else they can see your surroundings and find you

Many people claim that you can get out of the map shipment on normal or hardcore mode. I'm sorry to say this but they are lying the only way to get out of shipment is to freeze jump (which they have patched)or use mods or hacks.

Sniper: The 50cal. Is only the 2nd best in the game. I know it's powerful as hell but unless you are trying to hit a mofo through a wall at a mile away don't use it. The M21 is the best sniper you can use. Its fast ans quick reloading.

Assult Rifle: The Classic M4 carbine or if you have it the gold AK-47 these are both reliable and powerful.

Sub-machine gun: the AK-74u is the best one by far. It is just like the AK-47 but smaller.

Heavy machine gun: the Last one you unlock(dont remember the name.) It is powerful as hell as fast to shoot and reload.

Shotgun: the last one. Fastest shooting shoty and fast to reload.

Ok I picked this when I was trying to prestige. I figuredyhat if you use these weapons clases on certain levels you can go positive almost evey time. Crew Expandable when you reach the point where you kill two people in bunk beds search around in that room and there will be a inteal iteam...if you don't know what a intel iteam is it is a laptop

Now I know a lot of sniping and hiding spots, however, there are 2 that have always bin my favorite that few people know of.

1: In Downpour, close to the 2 water tanks next to where the defending team spawns on S&D, if you walk in to that area from the defending sid you should see the part of the concrete where it's cut so you can jump over it and close to the water tanks. Right after you vault over to that, there should be a little green shrub of grass/weeds to your right, crouch and walk into that, I guarantee that unless your name shows or you move, you will be completely camouflaged to the eye. I have had people literally TOUCH my soldier and they did not notice I was there. 2 inches away and they will still not see you.

2L On District, where the defending side on S&D spawns there is a building that has lost it's roof forward and left from where you spawn. Most the wall has bin torn off. Go into that building and up the stairs, at the left there is a little piece of wall still attached, go there and crouch. You should now (with your sniper) have a perfect view of the main street of district along with 5 or so of the maps most popular sniping spots.Just make sure you stay close to the wall and keep your head down. An opponent sniper will always be given an extremely small target ( 1/2 of your head) to try and shoot when in this spot, however you will see much more. Therefor winning just about any sniper battle.

An excellant sniper can snipe anywhere, hwoever, the following maps should always be taken advantage of when you play on them, sniper on these maps!

MP44 - Weak, inaccurate, and an extremely slow fire rate. Do you know why it turned out so bad? Because this gun was kept in CoD:4 to keep some of it's WWII heritage. Its a worl war 2 weapon people. :p

M9 - Unless you have a modded controller, this pistol is simply to weak to do a proper kill, even in hardcore.

R700 - A small 4 bullet clip, but more importantly not as accurate as the M40A3 and the fact that if I miss the first shot, the recoil on that thing is HUGE, and you have a very small chance of getting off a second shot. Worse recoil than the Barret.

Dragunov - You have a 50/50 chance of the shot hitting, and it will almost always take 2 shots to kill, which is bad for a sniper.

Grenade Launcher: Dubbed the "noob tube" by the Call of Duty 4 community, this weapon is not only cheap, but it also deprives you not only of something great like a silencer, but also a perk like the claymore!

By far, the number 1 way of getting XP if you are looking for a quick level up, is playing a lot of Hardcore and regular Search and Destroy. You get 50 points per kill, as well as 100 points for bomb plants and diffuses. Be careful though, because you only have one life!

Here is a list of the following “Golden” weapons you can unlock in the online multiplayer mode, when you have reached the numbered rank listed or if you have completed the challenges.

Use these classes, and with a bit of practice, I assure you that you will be going 17-0 like me in no time. :)

If you are trying to get headshots for your weapons, I would suggest using the class I use below. With it, I have gotten the Golden Uzi, and the Golden AK-47.

Primary weapon- (What ever you need headshots with)
Secondary weapon- Any silenced pistol
Grenade- Doesn't matter

Perk 1- Bomb Squad (so you can sneak up on people and avoid enemy explosives)
Perk 2- UAV Jammer (You can't be seen when they get a UAV)
Perk 3- Deep Impact (if you can't get to them because they are shooting at you, shoot them through a wall and get it over with.)

First stab the guy in the bathroom. Sprint while at the same time shooting the guy in the hall to the right. Then throw a flashbang ASAP. Pick up his P90 use that to kill his buddies that come running out.(important part in this first part is to keep running) go into the second part start shooting kill the guys coming down the stairs.(if you don't have at least 25 seconds left you can't make it) kill the guys in the third area only 3 should come if you're fast. Kill the man behind the door with a shotgun. Move up.(u NEED at least 15 seconds) kill the guy hiding behind the first part of the airplane if he's there(not the seat) put you're aimer up and when the guys come out of where the VIP is shoot them there should be about 7 that come out keep walking with aimer up. Shotgun pops out running at you from where first 7 came out of. Shoot him theres 2 more hiding behind where he came out(about 5 seconds left now) sprint to where they Terrorist pops out with the VIP(you have to headshot him in veteran)

If you pretty much follow all this exactly you should be able to make it
It took me 1day and 1hour to beat this but thats before I firgured out how to precisely do it

In the level when your are with the sniper dude and you are in a giant field with guys walking towrds you with tanks and you have to hide in the grass to get past them, I got a easy way to do that

Jump the pipes and keep going towrds the blown up tank when you see the first dude walking towords you from behind the hill get down and crawl bacwards towrds the nucler grass stuff and when mcmullin says are you draft ect. Go forwards untill you are barely out of the nuclear stuff and just wait. No one gets close to you and you wont be found ( I know this because I've don't this 3 time just to make sure)

Those are some decent Team Deathmatch and Domination classes I use. I will come out with more decent classes in time. I would also like to say these classes were made up by me, not anybody else, and that I've played for 13 days and am not new.

If you hold down the grenade button for a few seconds before throwing it it will explode quicker!!

If you want the achievement for this, I suggest following these 10 easy steps.
1. Knife the guy coming out of the bathroom.
2. Kill the guy to the right, and pick up his P90.
3. Take cover, let your health regenerate, and then spray the place.
4. If you health is quite low, go back behind the seats. Then move forward.
5. Throw a grenade in the next room.
6. Take out the rest of the enemies.
7. Move on up the stairs, throw grenades in both doors entry ways.
8. Kill the rest of the enemies and let health regenerate.
9. Throw your last grenade in the next room, then take out a few of the enemies.
10. Run into the final room, and take out the guy who's holding the V.I.P hostage, Jump off the plane.
There you go. I finished it just like this, it takes time and practice. It took me 14 tries. Good luck!

The best way to complete the epiloge on veteran is...when the guy comes out
Of the bathroom shoot him with the pistol. Wate until all the guys come out
Then flashbang them. If you find a P90 along the pick it up. The just continue the level by waiting flashing then running. If you run out of flasbangs then
Shower them with the P90. This is how I did it and I had 15 seconds left

For any of you that know about zzirGrizz and his special sniping tactic, The G-Shot A.K.A No-Scope, I shall thoroughly explain how do to this. I suggest using an ACOG Scope which is unlocked with the Marksman challenge (100 Kills with the ????) The best guns to use are the M40A3, unlocked at Rank 3, Private 1st Class, the R700, unlocked at Rank 34, or finally the Barrett .50cal. I prefer the M40A3 as it has better accuracy than the R700 and Barrett .50cal. Here are the perks I prefer with these weapons:
M40A3:
Perk 1: Stun 3x
Perk 2: Stopping Power
Perk 3: Steady Aim, Deep Impact

R700:
Perk 1: RPG x2
Perk 2: Stopping Power
Perk 3: Steady Aim, Deep Impact

Barrett .50cal:
Perk 1: Bandolier
Perk 2: Stopping Power
Perk 3: Steady Aim, Deep Impact

Now that we're done with the basics, time for the major part of this, as you look at your Crosshair, look directly in the middle, if you stay still for more than 2 seconds without shooting at a guy that hasn't moved, it will fail. If you want to make the shot, move over a bit then go back and shoot as soon as your crosshair shrinkens, then if the aim was right, you got it. I am a 10th Prestige Rank 55, Commander with a Golden Dragunov. I am a pro sniper, and this does work.

I have a glitch with the last stand that you can do. What you are supposed to do is exactly about 1 second when you get last stand pick up any machine gun rifle etc. You will notice that you are using that gun (that you picked up) on last stand.

Note: It is very difficult I only did it once because I was basically doing nothing then a bullet hit me and I picked up a gun 1 second before the last stand and sniped his face with it.

Go to the multiplayer level Strike and look at about the center of the map. You should see a almost rectangular building with a little of the left side cut out (it sometime has a computer in it for headquarters). If you go in through the cut out part you should see a dark corner on your left. P.S. This is a good headquarters place because it's hard to see people in the corner! XD

If your going to get any exp this is an easy way that I use, HeadQuarters if you don't like oh well for you, get either a shotgun or lmg and stay near the house or area and protect it when they struggle to get it and rush stay outside so they can't come in by shooting them, meanwhile allies take headquarters put c4 around area so if any get past you they can't last long but you will know if they capture it, when your team captures it go to the place that is most crowded and prone, when you see any one pass you take them out, but stay out of area so if they start to destroy it blow up your c4. Ps. This is my first comment about cod4 online on the enternet.

To get your Exp up you must have cage matches,a mic,and xbox live. Keep finding people that say "headshots"? Say yes and I go first then start killing them. They will and you still get the exp but they don't get your hopes up some might fight back.

SNIPERING:

Only sniper on certain maps, Thinks about it, using a sniper on Shipment?
I think the best maps for snipering on is: overgrown, downpour, Crossfire, Block, Crash, Broardcast ( If you have the new maps ) Just any map with long grass or has lots of buildings.

PERKS:

Perks give you special abiletys for you to use during a game. It depends what you like doing, really. If you like sneeking around and knifing people you want UAV Jammer, Dead Silence And Bomb Squad ( 3 Perks Per Class, Different Perks Are Unlocked At Different Levels. ) Where if you like just going around shooting people wit your MG, you would use Bandolier, Overkill and Martyrdom.
Personally, I use a P90 And 50. Cal With Claymore, Overkill and Martyrdom.
I would advise that you don't use juggernaut because people will call you a noob and you wont have many friends. :)

RANKING UP:

The best way t rank up, I think, is doing challenges, the Vandalism challenges or or the marksman for every weapon. I found it easy just to do a cage match with your friend and do all the harder chalenges with them: headshot for every weapon, taking out helecopters, knifing people. The bad thing is that you get a few more deaths when your partner gets to kill you, bet who cares? :D

OTHER INFO:

- When you hve a gun with lots of recoil, like a AK-47, you need to aim towards the chest, so when it recoils you still hit them a lot.

- 3 kill streak = UAV
- 5 Kill Streak = Air Strike
- 7 Kill Streak = Helecopter

- If you don't have an RPG but still want to take down a helecopter, shoot it with your primary weapon. A few clips, and your team mates doing the same, it will fall down in no time.

- To get a lot of XP, do Headquarters or Search And Destroy, on Search And Destroy 1 Kill Is Worth 50 XP and defusing the bomb is worth 200+

If you are on the map overgrown, downpour, almost any map that has tall grass, then pick the sniper because you will be in a ghillie suit (the suit with all the leaves on it) and it will make you a little more difficult to see. When you are shooting someone and you are fairly close, don't stop even when they are falling down, alot of people use last stand and kill you right after you kill them, so don't let up on the fire so you kill them, and then kill them again in last stand.

First pick old school mode and pick any of these two maps Backlot or Crossfire for Backlot go to a dumpster in the corner and get on the dumpster and run and jump over the wall and you are outside the map!If you go in a black hole you are under the map,also if you go off edge while under the map you will be stuck there you need a greade to suicide bomb yourself or switch your team if you are doing Xbox Live tough luck because you can't switch your team.As for Crossfire go to the destroyed building.Note pick Opfor because it'closer.Next hop on the chair and jump on the ledge and don't get to the area because you will hit side.Once you are up there jump once and run across you have to be above the barbed wire if you aren't you will fall now keep going until you reach the area with the part thats split in half just run across.Now go to the corner and jump until you make it and the rest you can explore.Just remember to stay above the area or you will fall and die

When you are getting ready to throw a grenade, don't hold onto it too long. If you do, the grenade will eventually blow up in your hand thus killing you. This will embarass you, I guarentee it. So, remember to make sure where you are going to throw the grenade before you throw it, so it doesn't end up killing you.

When you have reached the prestige level (after level 55), there is a very easy way to level back up again to 55. Focus on getting all of the "marksmen" challenges for each gun individually. These are worth massive amounts of points. Some other challenges to focus on for example are the vadalism challenges. All you have to do is throw grenades at the cars and you will get an easy 250 points. By doing this, you will be able to level up faster.

I find it easier to aim towards the chest of the enemy when using the AK-47 because it shoots upward. This way, you increase you headshot possibilities and you kills.

The best way to rank up online is to do your challenges. Find a friend and go do cage matches and let your friend and you take turns doing your challenges. You probbably will rank up fast I got to rank 30 in 2 days jus playin about 1 hour a day
