Throwing things is fun isn't it? It is actually important for you to throw coins when you need to because it can provide a distraction to guards as some will go search for the sound that they just heard while others will face in another direction and you can sneak past the person. Tossing a coin is simple, whenever you want to toss one somewhere, press down the Left analog stick, and then aim the circle somewhere. Agent 47 should then throw the coin. As for throwing knives, I am not sure as to whether you throw them the same way or not as I have never tried throwing a knife. I guess you will have to see for yourself. Just try pressing down the Left Analog Stick.
