To throw a knife,first you should have it....
Press and hold the L3 button on the controller and then release it to throw the knife in the desired direction.
First, equip the knife (by opening the inventory then selecting the knife).
When you have it in your hands, press and hold the left joystick (L3). Aim where you want to throw the knife with the right joystick, and then release L3 when you're aimed correctly.
