Once you have got lady grey captured for murder if you havent killed thunder can you still get the key from the little island

Nope. Once you Marry her one way, you can't do the other set of chest.

It's better to do Lady Gray's tasks to get access to the Chest, Key, get Thunder's Helmet, and then do the accusation quest to get access to the Gray house basement where the Will Master's Elixer is, and THEN Marry Lady Gray to get access to the Demon Door with Ronark the Axe, and get into the Gray Mansion to get access to the Silver Key Chest and the Silver Key.
