Ok, I'm pretty new at the game, and I have just decided not to go on the quests.. But instead try to rent out houses and I have a wife already soo.... I would like to know how you meet lady grey... And how you get to bowerstone north. I can't find it and if you could give me step by step instructions that would be GREAT!!!

If you don't do any quests, then you can forget about Bowerstone North and Lady Grey. Besdies, half the fun in the game is the quests!

Anywho, to get to Bowerstone North and Lady Grey, do the Gold quests until you get "The Arena" quest. Go to the arena, beat it (Doesn't matter if you kill Whisper or not. Kill her for evil points, spare her for good points. Either way, you'll never see her again.) and then you'll see Thunder talking to Lady Grey afterwards. Thunder will get angry at you, either for killing Whisper, or because Lady Grey likes you better. Up his. Anyways, impressed, Lady Grey will invite you to Bowerstone North. Bingo! You're there. As for marrying Lady Grey, there are two meathods. (I prefer to do a combination of them, since one has a Silver Key, A Silver Key chest, and a trophy up for grabs, and the other path has a Will Master's Elixer.) The first path, Go talk to Lady Grey at the mansion. She likes you, but she's not sure if you're "husband material", and will have to prove yourself to her. First, she wants a gift, a specific one, but she doesn't tell you what. Go to the Bowerstone North shop and pick up a BLACK rose. (The black part is important.) and give it to her. Next, she wants you to have a house, she she's "Not marrying into poverty." How convenient! The cheapest house in the game is in Bowerstone South for 1500 gold! If you already own it, sell it, and buy it back. Talk to Lady Grey, and she'll want you to do a heroic task for her, getting her necklas back. Ask around town until you find out that it's in Oakvale. Warp there, go to the beach, and dig between the two overturned boats. (The spade icon won't appear, but you still need to dig there) Take the necklas back to Lady Grey, and she'll tell you that someone else is out for her heart. Thunder. Go exit Bowerstone North to the North the find Thunder. He'll tell you to fight him at the executioner's block. Go up there, and fight him. I enjoy not giving him a chance to attack by mixing the Beserk spell with speedy attacks. If he sticks his sword into the air, quickly hit him with a fireball spell to stop him. That attack is annoying. (Don't hit him when he's struck by lightning, you'll get hurt. Also, you're lightning spell is ineffecting against him.) If you don't have beserk, just hammer him with fluroshes. He'll drop like a sack of potatoes. The fight has three stages, one next to the executioners block, one after Thunder knocks you down the cliff into a small pond (Be sure to fish there after the fight, there's a silver key in the water!) and then once more in Headman's Cave. Collect the Thunder's Helmet trophy, open the silver key chest for a Mana Augmentation, then open the demon door, and go marry Lady Grey! Alternatively to this whole method, talk to the crazy guy in the cell in Bowerstone North. He suspects Lady Grey kill her sister. Go to Barrow Fields and talk with Lady Grey's sisters old boyfriend to find out that you can draw her ghost out by going to the Grey House stable, and flashing your lamp on and then off three times. Her ghost will go into the cellar of the house after you flash your lamp. Then go into the cellar, and tlak to the ghost, before collecting a Will Master's Elixer in the chest down there. Then grab the letter lying next to the Skeleton's hand to have Lady Grey appear. She'll offer to marry you if you keep your mouth shut about the murder and give her the letter. Give her the letter to marry her, and keep the letter to force her to leave town. If you chose the ladder, go talk to the guy in the cell again, and then the head gaurd in Bowerstone North and, PRESTO! You're the mayor of Bowerstone. Only perks here are acess to the mansion. That's it. Better perks if you simply marry her, like 15000 gold drawery, acess to the mansion, and acess to a demon door near the Grey house with Roark's Axe in it.

Actually, If you DON'T kill Whisper, you will see her in the Oakvale pub... She shows up as a "person of interest", talk to her and she will then leave the storyline.

Why ONLY burp? Smack her, do insulting expressions, like burping, air guitar, insult, and the pelvic thrust. The easiest thing to do is just kill her.

If you don't go on quests you can't unlock Bowerstone North. In order to unlock you have to beat the Arena Quest.

Guest answered:

You have to actually go on quests until you defeat the white balverine in Knothole Glade then the CHIEF of Knothole Glade sends your nomination for THE ARENA to the HERO'S GUILD. After you beat the required rounds then you have to beat Whisper (you choosing not to kill her just proves that you are the better hero). After that you go into Birthstone SOUTH then you get to the gate to Bowerstone North. Then there's her quests that you have to complete in order to win her hand.
