Question for The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
I'm at the part where I'm jousting with this ugly thing but I can't seem to beat him. Is there an easier way to get this guy? I have been trying for 2 days now. Before I can get a good swing at him or dodge him he knocks me over with his boar. Any suggestions/cheat codes if possible.

Step one: get your sword out and TROT!!! Not run toward him. Strike him before he hits you(when hes close move the horse to one side and strike) go to the end of the bridge and turn around then trot towards him again and do the same thing (move to one side when hes close and strike. Once youv successfully done this twice hes gone. But he returnes later on in the game.

Just blast forward at him until it comes on screen to nove left or right with the control stick. Quickly move and slash at his side. Repeat and he'll go down with no problem.

Press A to speed up, then move right, then suddenly swerve left, attack him.

Run as fast as you can at the 'ugly thing' and do a spin slash (if possible) or just a quick swipe to the slide. It is very hard but you will eventually manage it. Also I am not sure if it will work but try throwing the Gale Boomerang at him. Another thing is that I think he has a sheild on one side of him but I can't remember. Try giving everything you know a go and you will eventually get it. Good Luck!!!

Charge at him hitting the A button a couple times, then when you get close - swerve left out of the way and then shake the control stick to do a Spin Attack and if you hit him he'll go flying!
