Question for The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

Inside the forest temple I have collected all of the monkeys, I have the boomerang, all that I can't figure out is how to open the gate with four wind mills to get the key that unlocks the skeleton room?

Look on the ground in between the windmills. You should see a path worn in a zig-zag pattern. Z-target the windmills in the order shown.
