Question for The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

Hi I posted the question on how to beat the guys under the tiles and one guy said you just have to walk past them... BUT THEN WHAT! How do you get the key to open the cage with the monkey in it. Another guy said you need the boomerang to beat them..BUT HOW DO YOU GET IT! I have currently got 3 monkeys and I don't know what to do! PLEASE HELP!

When you first enter that room, there are 2 towers on both sides when you drop down, the right one has a jar on top of it containing a blue rubee I think, and the left one has a big chest on top of it.

Roll into the left tower (and the right if you want some money), which will make the big chest fall, open it and you will get the small key to free the monkey on the other side of the room.

If you just walk past them and light the pillars with your lantern you will be able to free the monkey then you can cross the collapsed bridge to the monkey with the gale boomerang
