Question for The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
I got a letter from barnes bombs in Kakariko village, saying he had a new bomb in stock. I went and checked, and there was nothing there. Is this a glitch?

Depends on what you perceived as nothing. Read the letter again. He talks about water bombs and crawler plant type bombs later on. He only has 3 types of bombs on the shelf, and it's really hard to miss one of those 3...

I just recently got it though, and I had the three bombs before the letter came.. Do I have to do something for him to get the new bomb or what?

No. You just realized that he had the 3 bombs before you met up with the mailman again. You should be good to go.
