Stupid eldin bridge

Okay...
 So I am stuck. I never got the porthole for the eldin bridge so I can't teleport that piece from the desert.
 Now...
 I have come from the hyrule castle grounds or what ever...
 But I still don't see the shadow creatures for the portal.
 All I get is that goron sitting on the edge.
 Cause I know I need it to get hot spring water to town to that other goron
 At the south gate
 I think I might have killed them without getting the portal.
 Can't remember. Lol
 Can any one help me PLEASE?!?!
 It's driving me bonkers.
 ABSOLUTELY INSANE! HELP MEEE!

ANSWERS

You need to approach Eldin Bridge from the North, so warp to the east side of the castle and go north back the way you came early on in the game. The creatures are will be in the area north of the bridge, and after you beat them, the portal will apear. The Goron sitting on the west side entrance to the Castle town is an entirely different objective. You have the option of taking the hot spring water to him after you help Malo Mart by donating rupees. Then the purple Goron elder will be outside and ask you to deliver a barrel of hot spring water to the exauhsted goron outside the West entrance to the Castle Town. After you help him, you can help the goron at the south entrance by buying a bottle of hot spring water and giving it to him to drink from.

I was in the same situation, thanks for clearing this up. I will certainly remember this for future reference. I didn't even know where Eldin Bridge was.
