Date of Question: Jan 29 2008 | Question ID: 108412 After crossing the fog with the monkey guiding, I didn't know I was supposed to pick up the lantern. Since I don't have a lantern, I can't enter the spider web. How do I find the lantern? I am stuck and I've been trying to go back but I can't. What do I do? |

Yes you need to go back and get the lantern. You will need it many times throughout the rest of the game so just go back to where the monkey dropped it and it should probably be there. If it isn't there anymore I would go back to the guy who gave you the lantern and see if you can buy another one. Good luck!

It's exactly where the monkey dropped it, then you were suppose to collect it, and have oil with you to set it on fire.

Hey, this same thing happened to me. Except I did pick up the lantern, but as soon as I went to the next part (like after the next loading screen) the lantern just disipeared! And so now I'm stuck there as well. But I have gone back to where the monkey dropped it (many times) and it's not there (because I already picked it up aha)
So I'm guessing this might be some sort of glitch? Or maybe I'm just a complete dunce and did something very wrong.
