I see questions about which Skylander is best. Is there a difference depending on the console? Is one skylander better on one console and worse on another?

Yes there are differences. I have an XBOX, My son and grandson have a WII. I have played both. On BOTH our skylanders are fully leveled up (10) and have ALL the upgrades. Hex on the WII is kind of wimpy. Hex on the XBOX is absolutely AWESOME. In many cases, a particular Skylander is faster on one console than on another, AND a particular skylander may have considerably more "fire power" on one over the other. Some Skylanders are easier to control, or drive, or AIM, on one or the other. What I have found to be extremely powerful on the XBOX is not nearly as powerful on the WII. Unfortunately, I have no experience with the PS or DS, so I can't address those. In my case, fully upgraded "shooters" like Hex, Spyro, Cynder, and Sonic Boom will clear a level and a Heroic Challenge MUCH quicker and Easier than a slasher, smasher, or hitter. I plan to take MY skylanders and play them on my son's console in the near future to see if they behave the same. I am betting this is a difference in the way the figure is programmed in that particular console.

On the wii, ghost roaster is AMAZING. (when fully upgraded) and he looks cool to! I prefer slam bam over zap, by the way
