Is there a way to do 1 action and become level 10?

Not really. There are some "shortcuts", but even those take several hours to "level up to 10". Probably the best method is to play the Heroic Challenges. Those get you XP points, PLUS if you succeed they give you various other point upgrades to the various statistics. Each challenge will award points depending on what the reward is. Successful completion gives you the reward. Replaying the same challenge again will NOT get you more points. Some challenges are REALLY TOUGH. Some are just Hard. ALL are played against a clock so you must hurry. Best is to play each one with your fastest most powerful skylander. Play the challenge over and over until you know the route inside out. Then play it with your low-level dude. You get no money from these, just XP. Some challenges require to take out X number of bad guys, or collect X number of things. SOME require you kill certain things without killing or damaging others. These are best played with low-level skylanders BEFORE you purchase any upgrades. Once upgraded their firepower is SO powerful, it kills or destroys stuff you are not allowed to kill. Many of the challenges must be completed in a certain sequence or the doors, gates, etc won't open. Play repeatedly trying different tactics and routes. Once you have a route worked out that you can repeat, completing the challenge becomes a ROTE process. You CAN repeat a challenge over and over and pick up the XP points.

The other method is to play certain LEVELS within the Skylander adventure itself to accumulate XP. The one I find gives the most XP with the least amount of time is #8 Crystal Eye Castle. There is only One simple turtle puzzle. SO you can zip through this pretty fast, especially if you have done it over and over. DON'T do the EARTH GATE. IT is a puzzle and you get NO points. DO open the Undead gate. As soon as it is open switch back to your low level skylander. There are 3 rooms where you have big fights. Add the undead room and you get 4 big fights on one level. This results in LOTS of XP. I had not learned the trick about the Heroic Challenges providing BOTH XP and other benefits, so I saved the Challenges until after I had finished ALL the levels. MISTAKE. I used Crystal Eye to get XP to move all 30 of my Skylanders up to 10 along with Dark Water Cove to gather lots of coin.

The Heroic Challenge method WOULD have been better because the Skylanders would have started of HIGHER up. You only have to complete level 2 and free CALI to be able to do heroic challenges.

If you have a friend with skylanders, put them on your portal and take ownership. This adds them AND their Heroic Challenges to your game. You friend can take them back home with NO LOSS of his/her stuff. Taking ownership just adds them to YOUR inventory and opens the Challenges so you can do them.

I am not sure because I don't think they have any cheats fo any skyalnders
