Skylanders Spyro's Adventure Questions

Are they more chapters to go after chapter 22 or if not it's a waste of money.

There are four more chapters (if you will) after 22. Each is an adventure pack that costs roughly $20. Each comes with another level, a skylander, and two little extras. The soul gem for the skylander is within this adventure. "Waste of Money" or "planned upgrade" path is a matter of opinion depending on whether this "design" is being viewed by the consumer or the game designer. From a marketing prospective, this is a very good strategy to continue getting your hard earned money.

From a gamers prospective, you can TECHNICALLY finish the ENTIRE GAME with only 8 skylanders. One for each element. To get through all the chapters without getting killed requires LOTS of practice and repetitive attempts to build up the necessary skill levels.

Word on the web is that Activision is coming out with a "sequel" made up of 8 GIANT skylanders and some number of regular size skylanders. The "some number" varies between 8, 12, and 20 depending on the website you are reading. SUPPOSEDLY all your present skylanders will play on the new game. I would assume that the new game will also require a new DISK with more levels to play. Activision could easily capitalize on this method by releasing a new 3 pack with a new disk, and keep sucking my wallet empty. Myself, my wife, my son, and my grandson are ALL hooked. I would rather play skylanders than watch TV, or EAT, or SLEEP. Eventually, I will nod off in my chair and my control will vibrate indicating my skylander is DEAD. Must be time to go to bed.
