There are four Adventure Packs that you can buy either before or after you beat Kaos. Each provides one more level for the game (played from the ruins). Each provides one new skylander. A large central figure (castle, ship, or whatever) that unlocks the level within the game . Once unlocked you can remove the central figure. The Ad pack also provides two little extra add-on gizmos' These can be placed on the portal to enable a limited time assist of some sort. The central figure is also a kind of single use weapon of mass destruction. The effect is like a MEGA LEVEL UP. These AD PACKS. Cost about the same as a 3-pack of skylander figures and only provide one additional level. However the little add-ons should not be ignored as they DO have some value within the game.

If you have NOT done them, do all the Heroic Challenges with EACH of your skylanders. Start with the powerful fast shooter type, then work your way down to the slower punchers. To complete ALL the HEROIC CHALLENGES with ALL your skylanders will probably take longer than it took to do the game itself.

Of course if you have already defeated KAOS, then about your only option is to reset your game or start a new one and play again. Try it using different skylanders. Use the appropriate skylander to OPEN the elemental gate, but then immediately switch to a different skylander to work the gate area. Do NOT use Skylanders that are strong within an area. If you REALLY want a challenge. Try resetting one or more of your skylanders back to level 1 with NO UPGRADES and NO COMPLETED HEROIC CHALLENGES. Then try going through the game using a SINGLE skylander to do all the work. This is probably close to impossible for anyone except a truly gifted or thoroughly experienced portal master. If this is TOO TOUGH. Try taking you skylander of choice, do ALL the HEROIC CHALLENGES, which will automatically level him up to 10. THEN play the game again from the beginning. Make sure you complete ALL the objectives on each level. Anything unchecked in the objectives area means there is something you did not do. I have a friend that screams through games from start to finish, and unfortunately for him, SKIPS probalby 1/3 or 1/2 of the fun because he is not interested in exploring and finding all the goodies he missed one way through at warp factor 10. If you want the maximum enjoyment, take your time, and get ALL the objectives, ALL the treasures, ALL the challenges, and do it with MULTIPLE skylanders. Each one behaves differently and has slightly different powers. Use them all.
