How to connect to the Internet via Wi-Fi Connection

The PS Vita System needs to connect to a wireless network in order to access the internet. It is also needed in order to access the Playstation Network for downloading new content and games for your Vita. This is also needed to play online multiplayer and keeping your system up to date through important system updates. You can also browse the internet using your Vita’s preinstalled browser.

How to Connect to the Internet via Wi-Fi Connection

1. On your PS Vita Home Screen press the “Settings” button to launch the Settings Window. Press “Start”.
   
   
   
   
   



2. Press “Network” then choose “Wi-Fi Settings”.
   
   
   
   
   



3. Press the check box beside “Wi-Fi”. Wait for the Vita to finish scanning nearby Access Points.
   
   



4. Choose your desired Access Point from the generated list.
   
   



5. Enter the password for the chosen Access Point. Press "OK" when done.
   
   
   
   
   



6. Congratulations you are now connected to the Internet.
   
   

To assure that you are connected. Let’s perform an Internet Connection Test.

In the “Network” options, Press on the “Internet Connection Test” to initiate the test

When the test is finished press the “OK” button to close the results.
