How to Unlock the Vampire Forms

V Rising adheres to vampiric lore in that you can take damage through sunlight, holy power, and garlic. Although transforming does not negate the damage, it will help you to escape faster when you need to get away from dangerous situations. In total there are 6 transformational vampire forms in V Rising that you can unlock.

Wolf Form

The Wolf form is unlocked when you defeat the Alpha Wolf at Level 16. Transforming to the Wolf form will increase your movement speed by 45%. Keep in mind that if you inflicted by any kind of damage the effect will wear off.

Bear Form

The Bear form is unlocked by defeating the Ferocious Bear at Level 36. Transforming into the Bear form will grant you several useful perks and buffs. These include a 15% increase in movement speed and a 25% reduction on the amount of damage you receive. The Bear Form also provides increased Health Regeneration and Healing.

Human Form

The Human form is unlocked when you defeat Beatrice, the Tailor at Level 38 by extracting her blood. The Human form will enable you to sneak into human communities while remaining undetected, but strong-willed priests will recognize you in your disguise, so keep your distance. The Human form grants you some helpful perks such as being able to interact with traders. Keep in mind Human form dramatically increases the rate of blood consumption which means you cannot use it for an extended period.

Toad Form

The Toad form will become unlocked at Level 62 when you defeat the Duke of Balaton which is a giant toad that you will find at the Swamp of Greed in the Cursed Forest. The Toad Form enables you to jump extremely high in the air. This jump can be used to get past the gated areas without having to travel around the fences. The effect would be broken if you took any damage.

Bat Form

The Bat form is unlocked when you defeat Nightmarshal Styx, the Sunderer who will be unlocked at the Blood Altar when you reach Level 76. You will find him at the Cursed Forest and once defeated you will be able to transform into a bat and escape danger by flying through small spaces. Transforming into the Bat form is the quickest way to cross the world of V Rising.

Rat Form

The Rat form is unlocked when you defeat the Putrid Rat boss. In order to summon this boss you must gather certain items and place them on the Vermin Nest workbench. The items you need are:

- Twilight Snapper

- 8 Grave Dust

- 4 Fish Bone

Once you have managed to summon the Putrid Rat boss you will be able to defeat it and unlock the Rat form by extracting its V Blood.
