The Sims 2 is the best simulation game that I have played in a long time. It is fun and time consuming. I love to play and must admit I don't think there is any game out there like it, even the Sims 3. It is definitely my favorite and will be until the end.
The graphics are pretty high quality for a game that game out in the early 2000's. Occasionally it freezes and things get blurry but never does it stay that way (for very long). The characters, furniture, houses, and so much more look realistic and very modern.
The sound is crystal clear, whether it's dialog or music. The dialog isn't fuzzy at all and is easy to hear. The music quality really stands out for a video game! The words and notes are always easy to hear, even if they are in Simish. Overall, it's great!
This game is great and easy to play once you get the hang of it! It isn't hard to navigate and works dreamily. Very realistic, as you care for your own little people and families. The concept of it is great and very unique. I don't think EA could have done any better.
This game lasts for virtually forever. It came out in 2004 and is still popular 8 years later! This game doesn't have an end, so be prepared to continue!
The disks themselves are very durable and have stood up to lots of abuse from me. A few scratches may come but the disks still work.
Overall, The Sims 2 gets a 10 for being addictive, enjoyable, having crystal clear graphics and sound, and being just plain amusing! It's a great way to pass the time. You will never get bored! It's very easy to adapt to and get the hang off also. Great job on EA's part!
