The long anticipated Zelda games has finally come to the Wii. If you are lucky enough, like me, you have probaly already bought this or recently purchased this game for Gamecube. No matter what console you play it on, it is visualy similar but gameplay has completeley changed.
By far the best graphics ever witnessed in a Zelda game. Since it is a game for Gamecube, the graphics had to be dulled down a little from it's full potential. The lighting has been very blury in some places. With component cables though, the graphics are slightly improved on both systems.
The sound is rather good. There is a wide variety of classic and new music. Also, a good feature is the sound in your Wii remote. It makes the game much more interactive but there is one flaw in this: the Wii remote sound quality is absolutley terrible. Many people were disapointed that this game still doesn't have voice actors. But besides the remote, the sound quality and music selections are masterful.
Zelda has reached a new era in gameplay with the advanced technology of the Wii. With the ability to slash your sword, thrusht your shield, and aim your bow, slingshot, ball & chain and clawshot. Once you've played this game on Wii you will never go back to Twilight Princess on GC. The experience is quite adicting and the best gameplay I've seen in awhile.
With up to about 100 hours of gameplay and tons of extra quests this is the longest lasting Zelda ever. When I got the game, I could not put it down for a month while my other consoles gathered dust. Half of the game is made up of side quests that require you to do things like gather all 45 heart pieces, 60 poes, and 50 floors of hellish monsters. The only part I didn't find apealing was the boss battle difficulty. Even the final boss was extremley easy though I will not reveal who it is as it may suprise you. But basicly you'll have a problem playing your other Zelda games again.
With the lack of some essential graphic features and remote speaker problems this game is almost flawless. Many people will be anticipating the next Wii Zelda with hopefully perfect experiences. Until then, the next DS release is coming out soon which is rumored to have compatability with Twilgiht Princess. This has been one of my all time favorites and I definetly recomend waiting to get a Wii if you plan to get it to play this game.
