Lunastra: I'm still not sure if there are any Gathering Hall quests with a Lunastra. There probably is, but I have yet to figure out how to unlock it. If someone knows, please submit it!

What star level do you get to face the khezu

Its not the easiest item to get but there is a way. Get any Kut-Ku killing quest
From the elder or from Gathering Hall and set off. I recommend to get the 4star quest from Gathering Hall called Attack of the Yian Kut-Ku (#17/20) It rewards the most cash and has a very good chance of you hunting a Blue Kut-Ku. So once you started the quest go find the Kut-Ku and make sure it's blue. If not, start over until your hunting a blue one. It doesnt matter what quest or zone so don't worry so much. Sooner or later once you kill a Blue Kut-Ku carve it 3times and hopefully you'll get one or two smlblukut-kuear (small blue kut-ku ear) from either skinning it or from the quest reward. So now you should have it least one, take all items out of your backpack except for the kutku ear and start a gathering quest for forest and hills from gathering hall. Go straight to area 7 and find the elder. Press O near him and accept the trade and you'll trade your Smallbluekut-ku ear in exchange for a Monster Bone+. You can only do it 3times a quest though. Monster Bone+ is used ALOT for higher end gear so keep them until needed, they are also used in alot of weapon upgrades and makings. Hope this helps, it sure helped me a ton.

This is by far the easiest and most efficient way of making cash, go to offline gathering hall, make sure you have 4bugnets or buy 4 of them from the vendor inside, then go to 4star quests then pick Gathering:Swamp Zone (#03/20) and set off. Head to area 3 which is just a valley of grass. Kill the black cats before you start catching bugs so they don't take your stuff. Theres 5cats so keep an eye out. Head to the northeast end of the area where you should see a random tree all by itself.Start catching bugs there and almost 100% of the time you should catch 1 or more King Scarabs. These sell for 2,240z each. Simple as pie. And if you have upgraded the area for catching bugs in Kotoko Farm it least once, once in awhile you can catch a King Scarab there as well. Selling these is also a very good way getting Renovation Points. This is a much easier and faster way then *farming* Kut-Ku's body parts. Well.. Unless your a god and can one hit those birds.. Then so be it. Just repeat this lots of times for the desired amount of cash.

Ok it gets really anoying having to make loads of money and me and my friend found it :D

Ok you need to of reached level two quests and have the following items:
Bitter bug,honey and a rare steak(stop cooking meat straight after the music stops)
Combine the bitterbug and honey which makes a catalyst mix the catalyst with the rare steak to get power juice -if you already have a catalyst or power juice jsut skip this

Now take the catalyst and do the level 2 quest from the man outside the guild called crystal hunting when you go to mine take the catalyst so you can run for ages and then take the sootstone back to the red box and you have a bit of money repeat htis again and again and you will be rich :D

All you need is the supply items (the one that makes him sleep) keep hitting it with whatever sword uve got, when it's limping (this means it's weak) use the item that makes it sleep twice on it and it will fall asleep. Put the pitfall trap right infront of it, when it wakes up, it will limp or walk into the trap! DO NOT HIT IT OR YOU WILL FAIL! When it's in the trap just use the item that makes it sleep and wait until it says "target monster captured" something like dat! And then it will say returning to village in 20 seconds! MISSION COMPLETE!

You may of herd this one but the glitch does no work because if you turn off the power the game pauses so it all about your luck but any way this hidden area is between zones 6 and 7.

Once again go to a G-class level what is in the swamp and if you are lucky you may apper in a area bewteen zones 7 and 11 where you can mine and fish rare things.

And again there is no glitch.

Enter G-class Volcanic Belt level and if you are luck you may apper in a area below area 7, you mine pick up skulls and bones

PS there is no glitch to go to this area.

To kill a Kut-Ku you need to get a great or greater serpent blade. To get that you need to upgrade a bone blade. Get a lot of super potions and one or two paintballs 5 flash bombs some sonic bombs and small and large barel bombs.

First get the 2 star mission to kill the Kut-Ku(It's the first mission you will see). Go to AREA 2 and the Kut-Ku will swoop in. Keep hitting it in the head and get beetween it's legs when it tries to whip it's tail at you. To use a large barel bomb go undeer the Kut-Ku and place a large barel bomb then place a small barel by it and the explosion from the small bomb will trigger the large one. After you kill the Kut-Ku you can get 3 carves from it.

To get a serpentblade get a bone sword and keep upgrading it until you can upgrade it into a Vile Serpentblade. Then keep doing the "Formitable Velocidrome!" mission and all the velociprey hunting missions. After the vile serpentblade is the great serpentblade and the greater serpentblade. The greater serpentblade is over 820 attack and the sharpness is in the blue (after the green).

Kut ku- Use assasins dagger and attack it's legs/head. Its ears will go down before it dies. Gypceros- Use assasins dagger or better. Attack it's legs or head. It will pretend to die near it's death. Don't go near it or you have a high chance of dying. Rathalos- Use cyclone or any sharp dual swords weapon. Attack it's legs/wings/tail/head. If you want good rewards attack the head/tail/wings. It walks funny a long time before it dies. The only way to tell is if it retreats.

Rathian- Same as rathalos, but watch out for it's back flip. It will poison you and take a lot off you. If you don't want to get poisoned get Ioprey legs/body/helm, or the whole set for good fire defense.

Basarios- Use a very good weapon for this. Attack chest/tail for extra carves. After a while the chest will break open, meaning you can hit it easier in the chest. Retreats when about to die.

Ive only killed a garuga, other than the ones above, which I have posted in a different box because it is very tough.

The garuga is a hard creature, but not that hard. To kill it get a blade (I recommend cyclone or deathprize) With your weapon attack it's head. It will look destroyed when you have finished with it. Crack in it's beak (1st damage) and it's ears (2nd and 3rd). Once you have done this attack his tail. You will probably lose sharpness quickly so for this I reccomend something with good sharpness. When it's tail has come off carve from it. Hit were the tail was. He will flinch. Now attack it's head until it dies. It is very hard to tell if it will die soon. Oh and don't bother with pitfall traps it will get out of them quick. <>

P.s. If you fail the mission don't worry the damage on it will still be the same.

When you are at the Rage of the Yian Garuga quest, run to area 7. When there, go behind the big tree and pick mushrooms until you see the "there is nothing else here" message. Sit until time runs out and it will say you won. Note: You may only do this every other time you do this quest.

I found out a few ways of getting ez dough
1. Do the "the great jungle kut-ku"quest with this armor(hunter helm, battle mail,velociprey legs the one for blademasters,veliprey tasset,)and with a great serpant blade and some (armor seeds, power seeds, demondrugs, potions,smoke bombs,paintballs,large & small barrel bombs and bbq spit) when you first see the kut-ku use the paint ball so you wont loose it then use smoke bomb and put the barrel bombs all around then use demon drug and start to use the triangle circle combo on it's head but make sure your right in front of it so it will do more damage use the power seeds and armor seeds and use another smoke bomb and hack away at it again keep repeating it should take about 5 mins to kill it if you use the strategy if you have any flash bombs that will do to.

2. when you unlock the 1st hunting quest lvl 1 do that then come back and go to the koto farm and do every thing there (minning fishing etc....)sell all the stuff or keep it to make armor and weapons and sell the weapons and repeat the proccess until you get the dough you desire

- Its really quite simple all you monster hunter fans all you need to do is get a old/iron or mega pickaxe. It is optional bui I would suggest the mega pickaxe because they are less likely to brake.
- Next go to the online/offline gathering hall and choose a swamp gathering quest. They are the easiest (there are three mining areas)
- simply exit on the quest go to the mining areas and press square

Use the silver serpant blade and take the garugas ears of then just keep chopping at it's head until times ran out or you die do the quest again but this time use a hunter's dagger and take of it's tail and after that just hack it until you die or time runs out "this may take alot of time" go and do the missoin again and just hack at it. It's best to use flash bombs so you can knock it into a dizzy spell. Any other kind of bombs are usless.

Note if you die and for e.g you've took the garugas tail of it will be off when you do the mission again.

Once the ears and tail are of the garuga keep going back again and again to do the mission and the garuga will go mad each time you weaken it and hack it so it evntualy dies.

You need alot of money to do this and if you can kill a kut ku without flash bombs keep them for the garuga and you get money and flash bombs at the same time for free so there........wolla thats how to kill a Yain Garuga

Ok, so people have been wondering how to kill lao, and this way is the best way I was able to kill it.

so first of all, you need to get a certain wepon: obelion: it is a decent weapon that you can get from the materials of a azure rathalos(the smoke clad king)
after you get this, go to the store, and buy 3 lg barre=al bombs and bout 5(to be safe) sm. Barrel bombs.
at the very begining, when lao enteres area 1, use these, then use the bombs+
Now, hit him with obelion by doing a spin, then a diagnal slash, and repeate and do this untill he gets to the end of area 4, then, go to area 5, and get on the turrent.
right when the eye icon comes up, start shooting your balliza.
after that, jump off and get some hits on em before he gets to close to the wwall.
ok, now wait up there untill he is about to do a body slam( ON ALL FOUR LEGS WERE IT HURTS THE FORT) right when he hits it, use the dragonator(PEOPLE PLEASE TRUST ME WHEN LAO IS ON TO LEGS AND IS ABOUT TO RAM HIS HEAD IS NOT THE TIME TO DO IT, IT ONLY GIVES LAO 75% OF THE FULL DAMAGE OF THE DRAGONATOR!!!!)

after you have used the dradonator, jump down and when he is on the all four legs hit him repetedly in the head, and when he is on 2 legs, wait untill he has stopped stepping, then go wack his foot, over and over again.
PRETTY SOON HE WILL FALL AND YOU HAVE WON THE BATTLE!!!! GOOD JOB

P.s.- after that mining piont 2 will be unlocked and you can get carba light ore, and I suggjest getting judgment- the wepon after halberd, which is the ultimate buster blade, then sientell.
also, after you have all that, go kill lao again exept use juge mens (easy right?) then go to weps shop and youll probly have the mats. For dragon destroyer, which can tear up little kirin in an instant

When your fighing a diablos in the desert if you stand on the ledges in zones 1 &7(i think) when it charges at you and gets stuck in the wall you can cut it's horns off from ontop of the ledge if you use a gs and hit the ground near it's head. for me they come off faster than jumping down and attacking it

I would just like to clear up some of the rumors surrounding the yian garuga cheat

First off you get the quest by going into area ten in the "kill the velociprey" quest

Next, it has to be the first time you do the quest.
Then it doesn't matter what armor you have, what weapons you have, or what you take out of the supply box.
All you have to do is go straight to area seven and wait, you don't have to trade with the old man and you don't have to look for special mushrooms, you can if you want but it doesn't affect the quest.
After twenty minutes it will say "you won the battle take the reward and do the quest again, this time fight the garuga. He should go down after ten to twenty hits*

Now you do the quest again and wait in area seven again.
The next time fight the garuga. So on and so forth.

*when you actually fight it, hit it's head, it doesn't matter how sharp your weapon os, most of the time you won't be able to hit him, I have tried this with white sharpness and it still glanced off of him.

Alright this is wyverns name(s), weak spots, attribute weakness, and difficulty level(1-10) (these are all monsters about village chief quets (normal difficulty)) the ratings on the difficulty level depend on the hunter not the monster and I'm a pretty good at this game so it should either be exact difficulty or pretty close(killed like 4 lao's never failed on village chief) and the weakspots arn't all of them theres probably more and you identify weakspots (with G-Swords thats what I use mostly I don't know if this applies for the other type of weapons) is if theres more blood that comes out and theres a longer pause when you hit. And again I don't know everything so I might say no clue if I don't know

Again I may be missing some weak spots and attribute weakness and the difficulty level is on my oppinion and this game depends on how good the hunter is not how hard the monster is.

Reason I say fatalis is secret is cause I have no clue how to get it's book and I heard from a Monster Hunter: Freedom expert that getting hit once by a fatalis is an instant death thats why I rated the Fatalis so high.

Hi it's me again, I got a very usefull hint.

I first found out yesterday, it's very late founded out because I'm Hr4.

I was in a battle with a Purple Gypceros and just before it flashed me I jumped. And I wasn't affected, so every one, jump just before it's "try" to flash you.

I don't know about Gunners, but a Great Sword is excelent for making these jumps. I use Great Swords myself and I recommend them, just avoid the Wyverns tails and stay under them, EXCEPT Rathalos and Rathian, only when they're flashed because when they run they going to hit no matter if you stand a little bit behind it you going to be hit.

Alright this is a few things like how to identify when he charges, does a fireball, and flies towards you and stuff like that

1) when it flies in the air and press whatever direction button so you see it in the air and constantly run in circles or just do the jog thing if he flaps his wings really oddly he'll try to poison you with his talons you want the odd run where it takes lot of stamina dive (x button) that is the only way really to dodge that attack dodge rolls don't work

2) when it's facing a different direction then where you are and he turns fast with little pauses in between he'll charge at you

3) when he's facing a different direction that your are and he moves kind of slow with no pauses he'll shoot a fireball

4) when rathalos fly towards you cause you are to far away from him he'll use on of the two turn around things

So... Ya I like to study monsters so I can help others I might post one with gypercos's soon so yup theres ways to avoid getting hit against the rathalos good luck on killing them now that you can avoid attacks better

No offense revan59 but your way will kill it, if your doing a mission to capture a monster they should give you tranqulazer bombs and a pitfall trap, if they don't you do this to get one

Ivy + spider web = net
Net + trap-tool = pitfall trap (you can buy the trap tool)
And I don't know how to make tranqulizer bombs

Weaken till it's limping or you think it's really weak (if your going to do the thinking that it's weak, good luck) usually when I think it's going to limp I back off and run away and stuff to see if it limps, anyway when it limps lay a pit fall and get it in there, ex rathalos on the capture the rathalos mission, you want it to charge towards you so heres what you might wanna do

Just wanted to tell you about when a Plesioth or a Kut-Ku is weak.

Okay, You know In Questions and Answers....
All the answers about (when a Kut-Ku is weak). They are all wrong.
All Wyverns limps when they're weak.

Kut-ku.
You might have seen a Kut-ku when it hasn't seen you.
It has it's ears in backdrawn position.
But when it have seen you, it's ears splay open.
But when you have hurt it enough it's ears will fall back again.
That's when a Kut-Ku is weak.

Plesioth.
When a Plesioth is weak, it lay down it's back fins. Now go catch those Wyverns.

Remember that you make a net by combining (Ivy and Spiderweb)
And then you combine (Net and Traptools)
Then you got a Pitfall Trap.

Me and My brother fought a Diablo together and we learned a few things...

1) if you go to an area hack an slash at it yada-yada it'll dig in the ground and go to another area when it's hurt (like all wyverns and such) but when it's still in the ground in that area... Run around like heck till it jumps out... It's hard to dodge when it doesnt even show they dust.

2) this time when he fights and he digs around get far back and run in a circle, he only digs in a straight line making it easy to dodge

3) when he charges you can stand in front of a wall or something he will get stuck in the wall thats when you go full force

4) again when he charges run around till he gets kinda close then dive or dodge roll depending on how your guy is running he'll miss every time (at least he did for me even when my waist down for my character got hit)

5) and last but not least if the diablo is ticked (black smoke coming from his mouth) and if your in numbers 1 or 10 jump on the ledges that are there and run into the wall bascilly so his horns wont hit you and while on the cliff... Wait till he chills, if he's in the other place (i bieleve it's 4) just run like heck

I don't know if he goes anywhere else but 1, 4, and 10 but those are the only places he went for us

Hi...here is an easy way to get flashbombs. all you have to do is to talk to the village chief and choose level 2, and then choose "The Formidable Velocidrome". When you are in the mission open the blue supply box,take what you need but DON´T USE the flashbombs,keep them.
Clear the mission and go home to your house.Put the flashbombs into the item box. Keep doing this and you will have a lot of flashbombs...Remember you get 4 flashbombs for each quest.

Help me to start the quest, there are some things that im not familiar with, especially finding some quest, can you help me, by giving me cheats in finding the location of some quest item in the monster hunter map.

When you have to raid the wyvern's nest for a quest make sure that you have chain armor or better. Most people struggle on this but this is an easy way of beating this quest.
When you see any velociprey kill them. You will find them in the second room, if you don't kill them it will be a lot harder. Then Run past the wyvern (if you die don't worry, he wont be there next time) and into the cave.
In this room there are velociprey (about 4 of them) kill them, there will also be a white velociprey, you should kill this one too. The room is now clear, great, you can now run out of the cave. Before you do that you must eat rations (or well cooked steak) untill your YELLOW ber is full and to the edge of the screen, then pick up the egg al walk out the cave.
Now all ypu have to do is run back to your base, shouldn't be hard unless you meet the wyvern, (which you probably wont) or velociprey, if you see either of these just run, that is why I said to get your YELLOW bar full, but don't get it too low or you will drop the egg. Thats all you have to do, good luck.

If you are on your first hunt don't attempt it till you have got at least these items; chain plate, chain greaves and a weapon other than the hunter knife (Iron Hammer is probably most useful at this point). After you have got those items or better now would be a good time to kill them three Velociprey.
Great they're dead, easy right? From the reward you should get either;
Velociprey Scale,
Velociprey Hide,
Velociprey Fang,
Or any mixture (all three if your lucky).
Now go to the farm and mine, you should get at least one piece of iron ore.
Now you have the stuff to make a piece of Velociprey armor, don't worry if you don't though, if you can make some at the armorer.
Just keep repeating this untill you have got the items to make full velociprey armor, it's an excellent starting armor!! I did this and I found that it is a great strategy. (Just make sure you have the money to make the armor aswell)


Now go kill them monsters!!!
