whats the easiest way to kill rathalos???/ best armor and weapon

Rathalos, is not that hard to kill. I mean just like somewhere(I read somewhere it happens to everyone, they see the large wyvern in the first few missions and they go RUN AWAY RUN AWAY!) lol. I did myself. SO i understand it must be frustrating. To be honest I just beat it again a while ago. I had only ioprey helm , and ioprey plate , then I had genprey vembracers, and ioprey feet(it helps me detect if its resting or not). Beware, this bastard likes to run away constantly. Bring atleast 10paintballs, because sometimes its hard to paintball him. Uhh what else. Make sure to avoid fighting it in that area where the camera is all screwy. Just taunt it and leave the area.(do some damage to him-2 to 3 hacks) then he'll leave. GO find where he is. Btw. that place where you find the mosswine, right next to the wyvern's den. Where you have to climb up(more than the other place). He WILL go there occassionally(very rarely), get the hell off the ledges. He shoots fire at you on them. Btw. he likes to shoot fire from the sky, so keep walking/running. He charges alot, don't shield itll use up its sharpness, just roll over/jump. Make sure to NEVER face him directly. In the wyverns den, know this. You can keep killing the velocipreys, but they will still keep comming out. Atleast 2-3generations of them will. Uhh basically bring flashbombs, 10small bombs, 3lg bombs, good armor, weapon of ATLEAST 600 damage(preferably more) WITH GREEN SHARPNESS! or it MAY bounce off. Its weakness is its head, and tail. But its really hard to hit either one unless you use a pitfall trap and hack at its head(lay a large bomb there too why don't with a small bomb to detonate it).

HE does that thing the kut-ku does, where he moves his tail alot. He may do the wyvern flip. Its tail is poisenous, its why I used IOPREY armor. Atleast 2 of them will HELP prevent poisoning(to an extent). Try the IOPREY armors. Mix it up with the genprey armor(hands and feet) and itll give you poison defense and paralysis.

Mega juice also helps but thats if you have enough room. Try bringing 7well-done steaks.

Hi Hunter Ghiratiran here, I managed to break Rathalos's face using a THUNDER SHOTEL longsword, also the spines on the back of the tail ARE NOT FOR SHOW, they incur a poison element damage debuff which you WILL take damage from, take a full stack of ANTIDOTES, POTIONS, MEGA POTIONS, HONEY (To make more Mega Potions), and IF you can craft them ARMORSKIN POTIONS, they up your armor coefficient, also also also, MIGHT SEEDS, THEY GIVE YOU A DAMAGE UP BUFF, also also also, grab herbs when you can during the hunt you may run out of potions, also don't forget about the EZ-Rations, and flash pods in the chest at camp, you'll want to blind him with the pods, and use the rations for maintaining stamina, for stamina guzzlers like me take a stack of raw meat for cooked steak stamina foodstuffs, ALSO, VERY IMPORTANT, GIVE YOUR PALICO A FULL SET OF FIRE RESIST ARMOR, this will give him/her, I named mine Asurian, he's been really helpful in some of my toughest fights, the ability to stay in the fight
