The Unofficial SuperCheats Pokemon Yellow Digital 100% Guide
It was an extensive twenty long years, two entire decades ago when Pokemon
officially came to be, under the gaming titles of Pokemon Red and Blue (Green for Japan as well). These games brought the fresh, new idea of these little Pocket Monsters to life, the same that have become so nostalgic to early on Pokemon Fans.
Now these games might not seem as special compared to today's way of gaming, not with their 2D Graphics and Poor Sound Quality of the Nintendo Gameboy, but they were cutting edge back in the day. And the hysteria these Pokemon
had surrounded around them spread like a wildfire, and the reason as to why Pokemon eventually released Pokemon Yellow (and many more generations to come).
And the Pokemon
Community is still going stronger and building in numbers, and that, plus the Twenty Year Anniversary of these Monsters, are the sole reasons why the company have just released a Digital Version of each Pokemon Red, Blue and Yellow globally on the 3DS (2/27/2016). Now the games are pretty much the same from twenty years before now - with the exception of a few patches for relatively small graphical bugs - but a number of additional features have been added that we will expand upon in this very guide.
This guide specifically will focus on newer Digital Version of Pokemon Yellow on the 3DS. As like many other sequels or add-on games after each first set of generational games, this guide will compare similarly to our Digital Pokemon Red Entirety Guide
and our Digital Pokemon Blue Entirety Guide
However, unlike the set of first generation games that preceded it, Pokemon
Yellow was almost an entirely different script from Pokemon Red and Blue. You didn't really have a choice for your Starter Pokemon; likewise, your Rival
received an entirely different Pokemon for his too. Gym Leaders
also had different Pokemon, Trainers had different Pokemon and Levels, and many different Pokemon could be found in different areas. Not to forget, the game resembled in more ways than one the Anime Series focused around Ash Ketchum and his beloved Pikachu
That being said, there will be a number of different factors for this game that we will also make mention of. But don't worry, everything (and we mean EVERYTHING), including the differences between all three of the games, will be told in this here guide.
