Description Of Routes 18, 17 & 16:

With nothing left to do in Fuchsia City, it's finally time to work your way back to Saffron City. Since Routes 16, 17, & 18 have yet to be explored, you might as well take them back and gain the valuable experience. The three routes connect with one another, just like the opposite path to Fuchsia City.

Route 18:

Besides the trainers and wild Pokemon, there is also a Trade opportunity. A trainer is trading away his Parasect for a Tangela, and is a pretty useless trade.
