Pikachu Beach Mini-Game

Another change exclusive to the Digital Copy of Pokemon Yellow involves its exclusive mini-game of Pikachu Beach. Twenty or so years ago, you could only play this mini-game in the original Pokemon Yellow if you linked your game with Pokemon Stadium and taught your Pikachu the move Surf.

But since there is no way to have a Pikachu with surf in the Digital Copy of the game, as there is Virtual Console of Pokemon Stadium, you can actually play this game without having Pikachu know surf. Instead, you can play the game whenever you'd like if Pikachu is simply in your party.
