Date of Question: Aug 7 2009 | Question ID: 144988 Is there any treasure lying in the countryside somewhere? I need money so it would really help me if there was. |
There is not really any treasure but there are loads of non mission realted caves that have chests with leveled contents in (the higher your level the better the contents). Also you come across highwaymen who you can kill and take their equipment and many other creatures depending on your level. You can also gather Alchemey ingredients from plants and downed enemies and then sell any potions you make but are not going to use. I find that getting your alchemy skill to 100 is brilliant for money as you can then create potions from 1 item and the potion nearly always sells for a lot more than the item is worth.

There are several chests lying around near the ruins (along with some random level-based enemies), but the items that are generated inside are dependent on the level of your character.
However, there are some fixed locations where you can find items that aren't based on your character level. You can check them out here:-

Check caves, there is lots of money along with enchanted items which you could sell.

When I want money I go into the ruins under ground and loot all the stuff I can carry then sell. Once I got a total of 1500 gold coins for my loot.
