How do I activate cheat gnome?

I have the cheat gnome on the lot, but I am unsure of how to activate it. Can you tell me what I have to do next?

Pause then type in L1,R1,UP,X,R2

You will hear a noise if entered correctly.then go to the path and a silver thing will be there. Thats it

For you to be able to do anything with the cheat gnome, you next have to type in another cheat for "all recipes" or "fill motives" or whatever cheat you want. Then if you hear the sim in the backround sighing, you have entered in the cheat corectly. Then click "X" on the cheat gnome and presto! You have the cheat you typed in!

Actually, there are many ways on what to do with cheat gnome. One is that you put the code and it would be in the list when you click the cheat gnome. Another one is you can even move it but it only applies ion story mode and not in freeplay. Third is, the cheat is unlimited. Yes it's unlimited but when you restart or turn off your console, you have to re-put the code again.

If you have the cheat gnome in,you will need to get cheats,then enter those and go to the gnome and you can activate the cheats

you say: "you will need to get cheats,then enter those and go to the gnome and you can activate the cheats." i did. but how i can "activate" gnome after entering codes? somebody wrote: "it would be in the list when you click the cheat gnome." ha ha ha! click???? ps2 haven't mouse!!!

How do you activate them it says unlock all __________ but the it doesn't and I don't know what to do :/

I have the cheat gnome but when I go up to it nothing happen's so I searched it up on the internet and they said press pause and enter the cheat's but that still doesn't work !!

Okay, Pause then type in L1,R1,UP,X,R2.

The gnome will appear.

Next thing you gotta do, is pause and press the buttons to the cheat you want to make, BUT you need to use the direction arrows, NOT the left analog stick!

If this doesn't help, I'm not sure what's wrong.

In freeplay mode can you not go to different locations? Because I'm playing on freeplay mode but it doesnt have the taxi thing in the corner of the street? And also how do you unlock the cheat gnome when there is more than 2 sims you can control because when you press R2 at the end of the cheat it just switches to the other sim and doesnt activate the cheat gnome. HELPPP!

I have the same problem as well.
But when I entered the gnome cheat something else appears instead of a gnome.
I would help but a don't know???

When I go up to the cheat gnome what do I need to e on when I press pause because I tried putting a code in and it doesn't work and it's impossible to keep all motives filled at the same time
