I can't get past the alligator in the lost forest with sonic and dark.

It's really hard on that level. But the key is on dark before you jump off the moving vine you should see a 1 up get that and no matter how many times you die you start back over. And when you get to the alligator don't hestate when you get on the vine keep pressing X X X imediately( just make sure your on the vine first).

The other guy was right but use Sonic and Shadow especially with Team Dark because the game has made it so you miss sometimes with Fly, I ain't tried power but you have to make sure the alligator doesn't get you, make sure you jump at the vines highest point to get a good swing

All you have to do is,when the swing goes up one time press x then you will go to the other swing keep doing this then you will go to the goal ring.
