Date of Question: May 23 2008 | Question ID: 118608 I have followed your walkthrough for finnding snake to get my stuff but to no avail. I have tried running up and down both stairways,but he never shows up? And every time I step on the stairs the colnal calls me and tells me to turn of the game console, there must be a special way to get there, or something that I am not doing right?and I am also doing this on easy level, please help, thanks mikeythe not so great |

When you exit the room where Raiden was captured use the node to bring up the map then in the next area first take the stairs to the right to go up to the second floor when you do that head North watching out for enemy sentries and cameras when you get to the end take the path to the right and go through the door to get to the area where you find Snake. This area is just a short path with 2 doors at either end you will find Snake here but it will take a while before he appears there. While you waiting you will continuously get calls from the Colonel you need to answer them until you eventually get a call from Rose after the call there will be a cutscene and Snake will be there with Raiden's equipment.

Alright, look, I will try and walk you through that area until you find Solid Snake. As soon as you leave that room that Raiden escaped from, hide behind the crates that should be near you. While you are hidden safely from any soldiers, keep an eye on the Tengu soldier in front of you. When he turns around, do a cartwheel so that you are behind the crate on the right. When he runs off somewhere, you need to head north a tiny bit, and then head up the stairs to the east. You should now be on the second floor. Head north, and if you run into a man, just use a flying cartwheel to knock him down. Keep going and soon you should see a big gap in the floor on the right side of the second floor. Do a cartwheel over the hole and then just go up. You should see a path to the right, then a door. Go inside the door, and you should now just be in a hallway.
Run all the way down to the bottom, and then all the way to the top. Do this about Three times and then Snake should show up. Hope this helps.
